Lollipops Limited — Attraction in Asheville

This is an absolute gem of a consignment shop! Not only do I find great quality clothes and shoes for my girls at an excellent price but I also buy alot of things for my childcare center. I have gotten books, toys for the playground and classrooms, and extra clothes for when the children have accidents. One of the best things I have ever gotten was a whole kitchen playset for our preschool room a couple of years ago. We still have it and the preschoolers love it! To have a place to go for both work and for my girls that won't break the bank (especially these days) helps this mama and business owner out so much!

The shop always smells fresh and clean! I love the scents they use! The set up is perfect and everything is laid out so it's easy to find what you need.

Ashley and her team work hard to provide good clothes and children's items at a fair price and put alot of work into what they do. I helped out one season and gave me a new appreciation for the business. These ladies have become people I trust and enjoy seeing when I am there. My girls also love going and will ask to go :) As a consigner, I wouldn't take clothes to consign anywhere else.

I happened to stop by to check on my sales. The employee was annoyed I came in because I was interrupting her personal phone call. I inquired about when the seasonal sales would end and "vendors" needed to collect their items and money. I stated I received no email or communication from the store. She retorted it's tomorrow, you want them now? I said yes please. Begrudgingly, she says ok then. She goes to the phone to say "I'll have to call you back. It's been one thing after another." I was the only visitor in the store, really? I decide to donate my unsold items. She hands me the donation slip which later I realize is for furniture donations. She pauses and looks at me and says "what now?" I asked for my money, and she pays me out in the smallest denominations she could. When I first signed up, the initial employee was friendly. Ever since, my exchanges with this store has made me feel unwanted and bothersome. No email reminders. No overall friendly staff. No bother and no thank from...

I’ve found great stuff here but the scent machine is a deal breaker for me. I’ve been in twice and found great organic cotton clothing at great prices. The woman who helped me both times was so so sweet. Unfortunately the clothes are so strongly scented from the scent machine in the store that I can’t even keep them in my house (I bought them after the machine was set to its lowest setting). I’ve soaked and washed them multiple times using various cleaners and still can’t get the scent out. I know not everyone is on the crunchy side and totally respect that but it is a bummer to not be able to shop here. I highly recommend the owner watch the documentary “Stink” so you can see why some potential customers are so concerned about this. For me it’s a health concern, not just a preference. I would be back in a heartbeat if I heard the scent machine was done away with completely! Either way I wish...
