The Sweet Escape — Attraction in Asheville

The yogurt was decent. Kids obviously love serving themselves. However, the experience was considerably worsened by being asked by the person checking us out if I wanted to leave a tip. I'm all for generously compensating people for actual service. I don't consider scooping a few toppings on my yogurt service. This person is providing counter service only and essentially is a cashier. When the person asking me to leave a tip for counter service is the person receiving the tip, that is very uncomfortable. I think this is universally understood. Whether this is a management policy to subsidize wages or a practice of this cashier, I don't know, but I suggest changing the practice. I love Dippin Dots, and these folks have them. I didn't go in to buy DD, but I did. They were very good. It had been years since I felt the -40° bb's as I savored them. I came to try Frozen Yogurt, so I decided to try a bowl. I had a green kids flavor underneath a chocolate type. I, of course, added a few Fruity Pebbles to top mine off. Good Choice for Me! 6/26/25. Guy checked me out was kind. I imagine he suffers from depression. He looks so tired and like he has run outta time. I wish he could not work so much to spend some time for him and family or to whatever he feels would be good for his mental health. Please be good to yourself.
