West Asheville Baptist Church — Attraction in Asheville

My family joined this church. Worst mistake of my life. After trusting a pastor with sensitive family stuff that occurs when loved one passes....my family fell totally apart. My so called Sunday School teacher , now whose son is married to a ghosting daughter of mine, totally ghosted me and my youngest son. The church refused to put my name and sons name on the prayer list when my family busted up. I feel like our family unit should have been utmost concern for my so called church family. All ghosted. Though a legal issue was at hand, there was absolutely no reaching out or Godly prayers being sent our way. Now 7 years later a family of 6 is all to pieces with no one talking. One preacher there Mr. HOOPER , told me that he was sorry that the head preacher Stan Welch said he could not put me and my son on the prayer list because the hubby whom we were seperated at the time said not to. I think if they would have made us all communicate my family would have been saved. This is a cult church only caring about prestige and the Almighty dollar. Run! As fast as you can. And those Sunday school teachers, they changed churches. Tell me folks...who all wanted a piece of the Residue that was in a family WILL? I would have rather them saved my family. To damn late now. But they have theirs and their thousand dollar suits. Keep Walking chasing Jesus folks and may GOD Almighty give me and my thrown away family JUSTICE....children...I should say. And God's...

A very caring, welcoming and friendly church. Really enjoy the services, Sunday School and other special events... although my husband and I have opted to view services on line for the time being. We are grateful for the opportunity for the online worship option. You can go to our website and see several recent sermons that you can choose from to view. We had the privilege of working with Kaleigh and Daniel on branded leather patch hats recently for the youth students. They were such an amazing couple to work with! You could tell how much they truly love their students and value them all the while sharing their love of Christ with the world. We were honored to get to know them and hope to visit...
