Let me start by saying I’ve been a customer since February of last year, and according to my bank records spent over 3000 dollars for flower. I say that that because I have gladly supported your business in the past. On Wednesday January 8th of this year I ordered ½ ounce of Purple Haze. I realize I could have saved money by buying an ounce, but I wasn’t certain about this particular strain. I noticed my bank statement was charged twice. I tried to contact you through the website twice, no response. On Saturday I called the store in Asheville, they stated they would refer it. Saturday afternoon employee K called me. I explained the circumstances, and to be honest, I was more upset at that moment because the order hadn’t been shipped yet, according to USPS. Sunday I received confirmation from USPS, that the order just arrived in Charolette, schedule for delivery on Wednesday January 15th.
I finally received the order, it took 8 days. I was willing to forget about the duplicate order (although that cost me 20 dollars more), just happy to have finally received my product. Unfortunately, there was a bigger disappointment with this strain. Please remember I have ordered from you guys over a dozen times, I know what to expect. The product was noticeably dry just after open the packaging. After grinding (lightly) it was near dust at that point. Needless to say , it was extremely harsh to smoke, and I believe the flower was already degrading before I ever received it. The buzz was extremely minimal.
In the past, your product has mostly been ok, with a few exceptions. This particular incident fell far short of what I expected from you. Your lack of communication was totally unacceptable. At this point, unless there is some resolve, I will not continue to reward bad business practices.
P.S. This is an update to previous review. Management reached out to me , and I’m satisfied with what they had to say. I appreciate the candid dialogue. ‘This issue has been resolved to my satisfaction, and I thank Asheville Dispensary for their commitment to customer service. As a child of the '80s, I was reticent to try CBD/THC products (thanks Nancy Regan!), but from the moment I first walked through the door, my fears were quickly assuaged. Since I first stepped in the door I have been treated with kindness and care, not as a customer but as a friend. These people have helped me through many of the life events I have experienced this year. Justin, who is a wonderful and kind soul, will sit and talk with me when I need it, giving me a shoulder to cry on when I need it, and being kind when im in a dark place. Tom is always chill and has really cool vibes, really elevating the mood of the entire place. Chris is always friendly when I come in, a smile on his face, ready to listen. Raven sat down with me when I lost my cat, helping me through the worst heartbreak I experienced in my life, she helped me move on and keep going when I needed it the most. Shana (forgive me if that's spelled wrong) is also very kind, talking to me when I come in late after my shift, helping me stabilize after a long day. Every time I come here I am awed by the fact that there is so much kindness in one building, I used to have so much anxiety but when I go here I feel at home, because the people there have cared for me when I have needed it most.
