There are no bins in the station for the souvenir cups the park sells. I'm not paying for a locker. That's stupid. It's 90⁰ with a heat index of 109⁰ with the heat warning playing inside the park. I should be allowed to keep my drink, if not, then I should be allowed to sue the park, the ride operators, and Cedar Fair when I get a heat stroke.
Put storage bins on the ride platform for souvenir cups, be reasonable FFS. The ride is fun, but you get 1 start until you put bins back in the station. Oh, and maybe be more efficient with how your run the ride. Ops shouldn't be THAT SLOW, not ever.
Oh, and the silver train has flat spots on the wheels. You can clearly hear it when you're near the ride and clearly feel it when you're on the ride. You need to fix that NOW, before it becomes a worse problem and not just a super bumpy ride.
Matter of fact just get rid of it and replace it with a much better B&M giga, that wont be plagued with "down-time". A coaster that will be designed PROPERLY. There is still a lot that needs to be done to this coaster. Like fixing the first drop and turn. I have filled out multiple surveys your company needs to reach out so they can fix the multiple glaring issues with your park. If you guys won't fix the coaster, then it needs to be replaced. I honestly will be surprised if it lives on past it's 20th season. If it does, it's going to need a...
Read moreI had my first experience with King's Dominion on Sunday and it was soooo fun! Despite the heat and sun I had such an amazing time! Naturally when it's my first time at theme parks I get a little nervous while I'm in line for roller coasters because I don't know what to expect. My friend and I saved this roller coaster for last and honestly I was pretty worried because I had never ridden a roller coaster this high and fast. Fortunately the line wasn't very long when we went for it, we tried earlier but it was too long so we settled for Flight of Fear (Great ride by the way), and my fears went away once I buckled into my seat. My nervousness turned into determination and I couldn't wait to start the ride. The thing about Intimidator that everyone is concerned about is people blacking out on the ride, and yes, it is true, I did black out, but it only lasts for about a few seconds! I started blacking out on the turn after the first drop because it was very sudden, I saw everything around me start to go dark even though my eyes were open, but your vision comes back to normal as soon as you start to notice it. The turns are very sharp and intense but they don't make you uncomfortable, they just catch you off guard. I would DEFINITELY ride this again if I ever go back to...
Read moreUnbelievable. This ride gave me hypoxia. I fainted after the first descent and sharp turn, since we were going over 90 mph. I also suffered whiplash from the ride and have severe neck and back pain as I write this review. I was physically unable to ride any more rides on the day I went due to this roller coaster. To make matters worse, when I got off, I was dehydrated due to my faint. The hypoxia I was suffering caused me to exit from the entrance, and as I was leaving, the supervisor for the ride tried to force me to go again in order to exit properly. I tried to tell him I was dehydrated and was suffering a medical emergency, and his exact words were, “I do not care. A lot of people feel this way when they get off. You cannot leave from the ride entrance. Either you get back on the ride, and exit the ride properly, or I’m going to have you removed from the park by security”. I ignored him and ultimately left from the entrance anyway. Never riding this ride ever again, never coming back to Kings Dominion ever again...
