Out of the wooden roller coasters I've been on which span from Lakemont Park, Idlewild, Kennywood, Hersheypark, Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg, I can say that this is my most favorite! It's not perfectly smooth, but it's smoother than most wooden roller coasters and I love how this thing goes faster and faster as it moves throughout the track and you get A LOT of airtime on this! I hate that the name was changed from Rebel Yell to Racer 75...how original for a racing coaster. They had to add 75 on there because Cedar Fair already have a coaster by the name of Racer...lol. I feel they could have been more creative with the name. I will forever call this Rebel Yell, I don't care if it's politically incorrect, that was the name of the roller coaster when I went so to me it'll always be that name. I highly recommend this! It's a great thrill.

This coaster would be way more fun if both sides were running so the trains could race. Their are some brutal track sections that could use some work but maybe that’s part of the charm of this historic coaster. Make the train slam into the track and your body into your seat so you really appreciate it.

If your child is shorter than 44 inches(height restriction) and wants to ride the ride take them to Snoopy Land and ride The Woodstock Express. The Woodstock Express is just a miniature Rebel Yell, its the same thing just for kids that aren't tall enough to ride the Rebel Yell. The Rebel Yell is a very fascinating ride, I had never rode a roller coaster before and we went to kings dominion as a school band for music in the parks. My group and i rode all the "arcade" rides first then we rode The Boo's Haunted House then we went and rode The Woodstock Express and i felt like i couldn't breathe when we went up and down and up and down, but thinking it was just because it was my first time riding one i didn't think anything of it. We went and rode some more "arcade" rides then we stumbled upon The Rebel Yell, I didn't see the whole ride i just saw the very beginning so I got on. The same thing happened.... welp that is my story i just wanted to share. It's a...

A classic wooden coaster. The first 1/3rd of the ride was okay, then right before the turn around, the pain-fest begins. This coaster needs the entire track (on both sides) replaced in one season, not tiny sections replaced over multiple years. Please KD, fix this coaster so it can stay with us for many more decades.

And make one side backwards again! You wanna draw in the crowds right? Then make us want to come back.

Also, if King's Island's "Racer" went back to it's Red, White, and Blue color scheme why hasn't ours? Come on guys, paint isn't THAT expensive, and you're making money every day you're open.... it's chump change to paint the coaster when compared to other bills you have. It's little things like this that really do make the difference on if people come back or not. "Charm" is something...
