Twisted Timbers — Attraction in Ashland

The test seat turned green with extra room, but I could not ride because they do not let you buckle yourself. The belt was not even tight. They said they could not push it down and I could not try either. I told them the test seat was fine and not tight but they need to actually push on it instead of just setting it on me. They then said the test seat was different and they weren’t allowed and when I went to I was told to get off the ride.

This was the only ride in the park I could not ride or even had any difficulty on. I recommend not waisting your time. If I couldn’t have rode I would have not have paid for a locker. What’s the point of a test seat if it is different? Is it to make everyone think they can so the park gets money from you? The workers were not that nice either.

I am very disappointed in how they do it here at Kings dominion. We have passes to Carowinds and have for years and decided to try kings Dominion before getting the pass for all parks next year. I have no problem riding any of the rides at Carowinds either. I had a baby about a year ago so I am in the habit of checking the seats before riding. Right after having the baby intimidator and fury at Carowinds gave me trouble, but that was 40 pounds ago—- now I have no issue. I have lost all the weight I gained during pregnancy plus 10 more pounds so it was very disappointing. I wear Large and sometimes Xl shirts/ shorts— size 14-16 as a general idea.

My daughter and husband still rode it, but my daughter asked them to make her seat tighter and they would not, because they were not allowed and neither are we. My older daughter is very skinny but is a daredevil who can’t wait until she is of age to skydive—-I have been. She said she felt like she was going to fall out.

Not an impressive family ride! They could make the ride safer... but Rocky Mountain construction is not a good company (the manufacturer)... they have had way too many recalls for my liking and trusting.

But I’ve come back, oh yes, and now I terrorize your kind as a relentless roller coaster. My branches have become steel, my roots turned into track, and I feast on your screams with every drop and inversion!

Let me tell you, I am not just the best coaster in Kings Dominion—I am a force of nature. From the moment your frail human body crests my first drop, I seize you in my grip. You’ll fly through the air like leaves caught in the wind, with airtime so powerful you’ll swear you’ve been uprooted from the ground. My twisted, gnarly track whips you through barrels and turns, leaving you gasping for breath, and yet, you keep coming back for more.

I’ve heard whispers among you mortals that I am one of the best coasters you’ve ever ridden—and they’re right. No coaster at this park can rival the chaos and thrill I bring. I am smooth, but don’t be fooled—I am merciless, with every inversion designed to make your heart race and your legs shake.

Twisted Timbers is a Hybrid Steel Coaster on a Wooden Frame. Oh boy this sure is one fast coaster. You go upside down 3 times. But you don’t feel like you are upside down. Because you go so fast 54 MPH. I just love the layout of the Coaster. The Train car is an old type of Car. I rode it in the front seat. And I liked following the track. They do take your picture on Twisted Timbers. You can’t have any loose items while on the coaster. But there’s Lockers next to Twisted Timbers. And it’s only $2.00 for 2 hours. And you create your own Combination. You have to put your stuff in a locker or with a none rider. I really love the air time and there’s lots of air time on Twisted Timbers coaster. In fact you feel like you are coming out of your seat. Oh there’s lots & lots of twists and turns. And lots of humps. At the entrance of Twister Timbers there’s an old car. And you also see old tracker, truck, car & as you go up the stairs to the train you see a tracker up high. Twisted Timbers Coaster is a must ride. I rate Twisted Timbers...
