What ever happened to the concept that the customer is always right? I shop at Aspinwall store at least once a month. Sadly, my recent visit will be my last. I bought lunch meat and I felt had a strange smell. I called store to let them know they asked me to bring it in. I did⦠at least 5 employees all came to smell and all of them said nope, nope, nope⦠no smell here.. like I was lying. Iām seriously surprised they didnāt give me a lie detector test or something. The looks I was getting especially from the big giraffe lady. Anyway, who cares if they didnāt smell what I did. Iām the customer and if Iām dissatisfied isnāt important to make me satisfied. Apparently not at Labriolaās they will give you the side eye there because everyone and everything is perfect except the customer š. They also weighed the lunch meat that I brought back mind you I bought it hours before and had a slice and gave me money back from what a slice or two taken out! There seems to be issues with pastrami being cut before closing. I normally don't write bad reviews but seriously, I KNOW the machines need to be cleaned for messy pastrami, but I just tried to be considerate and call ahead, because my son is sick and requested it. Her response was, there is only two people back there and they can't do it in time to get out the door at 6pm. It was 5:45.
Here is a suggestion... Cut a pound of it prior to closing. It doesn't go bad in the case. I mean really... Would it kill you to stay late?!? The rest of the world does it, hence our challenges of getting there 30 minutes before closing to get some cold cuts.

It was only me in the aisle and I went behind his step ladder and said āexcuse me Iām going to sneak right by you to grab an item off the shelfā. The male employee sighed and gave me an annoyed grunt. I asked him if I did something wrong and he ignored me. I am honestly disgusted but the horrible customer service in a small business grocery store. I will never be returning to this location as I feel upset every time I leave. I would suggest getting some customer service training for your very unprofessional employees....
