Dutch bros is usually a staple for us, this trip we made many stops from San Francisco to Everett but this one was our least favorite. Plenty of staff, 5 people inside, no one running for orders. I was the 3rd car in line and we sat in the drive almost 30 min. With 5 people on shift?! Things happen I get it, training etc.
But when we finally got to the window to give our order the service had started to make up for the wait, however...... the gal took our order, rang us up and headed to chat with the crew. Still no complaint. We get my drink, yummy! Waited another 5 min and the same guy hands me our second drink but was just a duplicate of mine. I politely told him we were just waiting on an Italian soda for my son. No big deal, no complaint. Waited, waited and finally got his Italian soda that was so messy and foaming out of the cup everywhere. At this point this was 39 min out of our road trip and I just wanted to get going. The drink proceeded to seperate and fizz everywhere making a mess of my rental car and my son. Really a disappointment to say the least. Won't make this a regular...
Read moreI hate that I have to complain about this. About a couple months ago I informed one of the girls if they could let their manager know that I didn’t want a specific broista placing my order or serving me. I love the environment. I usually love the service and the girls. I cross the river and Dutch is the first stop. Today. I asked one simple thing and I asked if I could have one of the other girls take my order. She was unprofessional about the situation and didn’t listen. She was not nice at all. I know the girls there are determined to have speed, quality, and service. But with this one simple request I had and I wanted to avoid issues. She argued gave me attitude and instead I told her as a customer, customers have the right to avoid service. It didn’t need to become an argument. It ruined my day. And I needed to address this. Poor service on her behalf. Just overall the experience was immature. It didn’t need to escalate. A little disappointed. And I’m afraid as a costumer buying product I decided to just get a water instead of purchasing anything because the interaction was very...
Read moreIm not sure if it’s appropriate to put this on a Google review but I want Chloe’s co-workers to see this. For most of us early AM coffee people, it’s less getting coffee and more about having the first and possibly last pleasant interaction with other people that day. Chloe was my sunrise. She was the first and last smile I would see that day. When I pulled up at 5am and heard her “dad rock” playing, I knew the person I was about to see cared for me beyond just a customer and my dog knew he was about to get spoiled. She wasn’t the only one I felt this for but her passing left a hole in my heart even after I’ve moved out of state. Every time third eye blind comes on the radio, I see her smile and hear her voice. I want all the Dutch bros workers and Chloe’s family to know, even though the people coming through might only be in front of you for 2 minutes, the impact you have on our lives is immeasurable. You are thought about throughout the day. You are treasure, inspiration and deeply cared for. You are our sunrise. I miss you Chloe. Love,...
