So I have only gotten breakfast here so far but if the rest of there menu is anything like there breakfast this will be my new favorite Mexican place! We got a California breakfast burrito, a bacon breakfast burrito, Churro pancakes and a churro doughnut (everyone said I had to try the doughnuts). First off the doughnut is probably some of the best I’ve had. It’s warm fluffy a good deep fry crisp as well and really good texture and flavor. Not including the toppings they put on it! The pancake was also amazing. A little of the sweet side. The California burrito was amazing. So far my favorite! I’m very picking with Chorizo mainly because most people cook it and it’s way to greasy. This was perfect! They also stuff it with fries cheese and sauce they make as well. The normal bacon burrito was also amazing. They even throw avocado in there. When it comes to portion they do not mess around. The burritos are massive and filling. I highly recommend this place. Will update once I try lunch.

The birria pizza was good, but wasn’t bursting with flavor like the birria carts back in Portland.
The chorizo burrito was mostly rice and beans. The chorizo itself didn’t stand out much.
The only salsa they had available was the habanero one. It was okay…mostly heat and not much flavor. It did add a needed kick to the otherwise bland meats.
Maybe the lack of options in Astoria is why this place is so...

The barria torta he served us was a true revelation. The textures and herbaceous infusion were other-worldly. I literally looked down at the sandwich after taking a bite in awe, wondering how this new flavor could come from a scrumptious but modest food item.
Keep doing what you’re doing, this...
