This pawn shop has the most terrible rude staff, I am disabled with mild Autism so i can't handle stress or negativity very well, I called the pawn shop and the main pawn shop manager answered the phone I asked him if he would look at my Dale Tiffany exact reproduction of the Louis Comfort Tiffany famous rose bush lamp shade, he then asked me how much I wanted for it and I told him it was up to him so he said bring the lamp on in and I will take a look at it, well I brought the lamp in an brought it up to the main counter of the pawn shop I started to put the heavy 23inch in circumference stained glass shade onto the base so that they could plug it in the main manager came out and said o no don't assemble it i want to look at the shade well he look at it visually and then asked me is it a real tiffany lamp I was honest and told him that it is a reproduction of an original tiffany lamp shade made by a company called Dale Tiffany a well-known artisan company famous for its exact reproductions of Louis Comfort Tiffany's original designs using the same copper foil technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany himself and using real art glass just like his original lamps well in a long shot the manager at the pawn shop tapped on the glass and said its plastic i tried politely correcting him as he doesn't know what he is talking about I tried explaining to him that the copper foil technique dampens the sound of the glass making it sound like a thud when tapped instead of a ringing anyone who is truly knowledgeable on tiffany and tiffany reproductions would know this. Anyway, the manger was very rude and hateful towards me and said Well I don't take Tiffany lamps anyway, so I don't want to buy it off of you. long story short being that I have Autism his rudeness caused me to have a partial mild meltdown, so I stormed out of the pawn shop. I actually shop here a lot cause I like the layaway. But after today I doubt I'll be back. First thing- I was on Congress parkway headed to pick up my latest layaway item when a white car started riding my but, the speed limit is 45 and I was doing 50 and shevwas pushing me to faster. When I wouldn't speed up she flew around me then got in front me. Well the car in front of her stopped to turn left and that made her even madder. She threw here hand out the window and flipped the car of then flipped me off. (Guess she didn't know we was pulling into the same place) she pulled into the pawn shop parking on the side of the building where employees park. Her vehicle was white and kinda looked like a suv but not as big. The tags were Blount county and she was a heavy set lady with short dark hair. Great way to be treated huh. Lucky for her I wasn't a crazy person with anger problems. Now on to the prices. I used to love to buy from this place when it was just a pawn shop before the 1st move. Now it's a store that gives people 5 dollars for there stiff and sales it for 100. The jewelry prices are absolutely ridiculous. I shop at the pawn shop in knox and pay half. Or online is still a ton cheaper and it's brand new. I feel like this place takes advantage of the fact that we r a small town without the option to go shop multiple pawn shops. Greed should be the new name of the place. They care nothing about the customers anymore. I purchased a pistol from this company online and they forfeited all money paid, due to "late payment" but they don't answer the phone to accept payments. I called multiple times before the payment due date but they don't answer. I have screenshots of my call log. So, because of their policy, they just get to keep the pistol and my money. Zero refund. No restocking fee or anything like that. They just keep all of the money you've paid. For no reason. Because it's in their policy. They haven't earned it in anyway. It's a crooked system so they can cheat you out of your money. The manager, Cameron, just side steps the fact that I have proof of calling to pay and just keeps saying "we didn't receive payment by the due date". The only way to pay is by phone, through him.
