I typically enjoy my visits to Bojangles. This was my first visit to this particular Bojangles. One of my favorite items is the very tasty and well seasoned fries which unfortunately were cold and stale. I tried the fried chicken sandwich for the first time but unfortunately the mayonnaise was in overabundance causing the bun to become gooey and squishy and the chicken did not fill the bun, therefore many bites were just bun and oddly melting mayonnaise goo. While the number of employees was more than I had seen at any similar establishment, I was shocked to find that not a single surface was clean or maintained, but they certainly seemed to enjoy socializing, which says something for their workplace environment being potentially fun for them, just not one that values work ethic like it should. Also, not one employee was seen with a hair net or beard cover and one of the cooks did in fact sing his hair filling the restaurant with the smell of burnt hair. The floors were so dirty across the entire restaurant, which was empty aside from us and maybe one older customer, that I had to clean my shoes upon exiting the establishment bc it was just that dirty- seriously food bits and entire french fries were scattered across the entirety of the floors as though the customers had emptied their plates on the floor instead of the trash bins ( but in reality they simply needed to be attended to by the employees who were chatting instead of working). I did not find the seating comfortable as the only options were small tables and hard chairs. I prefer to dine comfortably with some cushion to my backsides. The tea was not up to their legendary standards but at least it was not soured like the last Bojangles I visited. The employees were friendly enough but with some encouragement to promote and maintain a good work ethic I think this Bojangles could become far better than it is and earn its stars that it so proudly boasts upon...
Read moreI'm really shocked at the service that I just received at this establishment. We're in here almost daily, and everything is usually great. HOWEVER! I just went in to get a small order, and the boy that was closing the boxes wasn't wearing gloves. He reached into the box, touching the food and moving it around. I was watching this, and asked for it to be replaced. The boy got noticably upset, saying that he was just closing the box. I advised that I saw him handling the food and he didn't have on gloves. The girl working with him told him to just replace it. The three teenagers working the front counter gave the worst service I've ever received in this restaurant. Food was not being handled with utensils, but instead with hands, being THROWN into the boxes. That's never a very impressive way to handle a customers food. Very upsetting to the...
Read moreIf you are on a calorie restriction diet just order the wings! 10@14.99 might equal 1 ounce of chicken! That’s right $14.99 for maybe 1 ounce of chicken! Apparently they were short on buffalo sauce that they put on the wings! Best part of my order was the chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes with gravy! Thank goodness I got a small side of those otherwise I’d be starving! It’s very sad to spend close to $30 for 2 orders of the WORST CHICKEN WINGS I’VE EVER BOUGHT! I thought since Bojangles is primarily a chicken restaurant that they would have better tasting chicken wings! I would give 0 stars for the wings! At least the tea was good! I understand why they weren’t busy now! I definitely would’ve went somewhere else had I known…. very, very...
