Plaza came out to service a brand new refrigerator on July 3rd, the fridge was purchased on July 2nd. It would not cool at all. We lost food. Plaza ordered parts but one part was backordered, I had Whirlpool to expedite the part. Plaza had it in 2 days. I still had to wait till July 29th before they would service my fridge. It worked 7 days, if that. I once again called Whirlpool who, once again called Plaza. My appointment for service is for August 29th. While we were waiting on Plaza, someone else checked the fridge out. As it turns out, I was told that the compressor was bad,(Plaza ordered a compressor but did not change it) and the freezer dryer that was changed was not done correctly, a bad weld which created a coolant leak. Now once again I am living out off coolers. With the food I've lost and ice I have bought for the coolers, I have lost another $1,000.00. I understand not being able to fix an appliance the day that they were called, but 3 to 4 weeks out for service is ridiculous. Especially when their initial repair is what caused the problem the second time. Just because we live in a small town does not mean that we should have to accept bad service. I was told that if I had bought the refrigerator from Plaza that I would be on the priority service list. It seems to me since their service caused the second breakdown that I should be on the priority list. I have never written a bad review about anyone until now. Every word is the honest truth. Read moreHad technician come out to service dryer, needed heating coil and was advised I needed to go ahead and replace thermostat so I agreed to this. Corey struggled disassembling the dryer and that’s when I should have really questioned him but I thought considering it was Plaza that he would have been a certified technician… So he placed these 2 parts in dryer and left then I started to use dryer and it sounded as it was gonna fly apart so I called next morning and I was told they would send him back out and I said NO send someone else, the Nicki girl stated we will send him back out and if I wasn’t satisfied after that trip then the could get a different tech sent out and I refused to let this happen. Why should I have to miss 3 days work? Fast forward, they Sent Bruce out and I watched the process at this point cause I wanted to know what had been done to my dryer cause it was not making the noise it was currently making, screws left loose, screw completely missing and also a cracked drum roller at this point so Bruce agreed that would replace the wheel after I told him Nicki had also stated that they had numerous complaints on Corey. Plaza you need better customer service reps, this is not good for business but I will say for Lisa and Bruce you both took a bad situation for me and turned into a better outcome even tho this was a 3 trip fix, 300 dollars for parts and labor then 3 days missed work for me to fix a problem that was created by someone else, not sure if I will use them...
Read moreMy wife and I took some time off to move into a new house. After moving our washer and dryer to the new place, we decided it was time for a new dryer. We looked online at the plaza Electronics site, and saw the one we wanted. We called the store to see if they had something like that in stock, put in the order, and setup a delivery time and day. Mornings are the best time for me, so we scheduled the delivery almost a week out. Less than 2 hours latter someone from their delivery team calls and asks if I'm home and ready for the dryer. I was very pleasantly surprised to be getting the dryer the same day it was ordered. Not only that, but the two guys that brought the dryer were great. They took the old dryer away, hooked the new one up, tested it, and gave me some great tips on how to keep the new dryer and our existing washer working well for years. While they were working on my new dryer they helped me hook up my old washer and tested that for leaks, or problems as well. I compared the price of the dryer we got from Plaza to the same one at Lowes and Home Depot. The big stores make it look like they are giving you a better price, but the customer serves and care the folks at plaza give is worth a lot more than a few extra buck they may charge.
