Business has consistently gone down hill. No customer service at all. Very disappointing since this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I ate there today with friends and also ordered a to go meal. Ticket on bag was correct, so I paid and left. Once I was home I realized the item inside the bag was completely wrong, I called and explained and was told if I returned with bag and ticket it would be corrected. When I arrived at the restaurant there was a lot of confusion- I was told I ate both of the orders while I was there - then I was told I ate two other plates as well that I never ordered - again I had my receipt. I told them if there was a price difference I would gladly pay it, I just wanted what I ordered. After a ten minute wait a server brought my to go and told me : She was told to tell me I needed to make sure I checked my bag before I left the first time because they don’t make mistakes like this. I must of taken someone’s else’s bag. I turned to the women who rang me up and said I was handed this bag and my receipt which matched my order. After stating that all of a sudden it was no big deal! Extremely rude and unprofessional. I was kind the entire time when honestly I should have been the one with an attitude since they were in the wrong! I should of asked for the 45 dollar tip the table ( of 5) left back! What a...
Read moreI'll give this place a solid four star, which is rare for me. It's located in a small strip mall but there is no mistaking the place. The front looks like your typical Mexican restaurant. There is music playing outside the door. There is also a daily special menu on the door. Once inside it's quite roomy. There are the normal booths along the wall. In the center are three rows of four tables each, positioned just right to be put together for a very large group. There are two of those corner booths, you know the curved ones where a person in the center makes three people move to get out. The menu is nicely arranged with plenty of pictures for those who may have forgotten their glasses or just don't want to read much. There is also a good selection on the children's section. There is a separate bar area with stools at the bar and two booths. Beyond that is a more private dining area. The food was plentiful and came on the obligatory hot plate (why do all Mexican places do that)? The taste was good, however being used to the many fine restaurants in Arizona, was a little on the bland side. There is a patio and I saw some ash trays out there. The time being late winter it was not in use. The restroom was clean and nicely decerorated. At least the men's was, didn't check the ladies. Over all is one of the better Mexican places we've...
Read moreBeware! We eat here quite a bit. I always order the Taco Salad (circled) under the Vegetarian section. I didn’t have guacamole on it this time (not the first this has happened, but they always fix it). They were busy so I asked for it. No big deal. The waitress returned and said quac doesn’t come with it and that I’d have to pay extra. I said the menu says it comes with it. She said the lunch portion (which is the same exact portion as dinner because this is the only thing I get even at dinner) doesn’t come with it. I said I didn’t order the lunch portion (there wasn’t even a lunch portion option). She said that’s what the manager said. I said ok. I thought I get it for a cheaper price. No, I was charged 10.99 which is fine, but I wanted what I ordered. We asked to speak with the manager he REFUSED to speak with us. We got up to leave the waitress brings us a full bowl of quac and said here. I said I don’t need it now we’re leaving. I wanted it with my food. She said oh well. We went to pay the manager REFUSED to speak with us again. I said I’ll be leaving feedback. He walked by and IGNORED me. So did the other servers and our waitress. They wouldn’t give me our itemized receipt back either because they knew I would post it with this menu item (they watched me take the picture). Just...
