We recently navigated a truly nightmarish situation with a bride, and let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster from hell. We'd been meticulously planning her dream wedding for over a year, smooth sailing, right? Wrong. Eight weeks before the big day, BAM! Venue management changes, and suddenly, we're staring down a brand new contract with inflated prices, draconian decor restrictions, and demands for vendors to attend endless, time-sucking meetings and walk-throughs. The bride was, understandably, devastated.

We spent seven grueling weeks trying to reason with the original venue, attempting to salvage something workable. Just five days before the wedding, we thought we’d finally reached a compromise, a light at the end of the tunnel. They were sending over the “final” contract with the revised terms. Then, the very next morning, they dropped another bombshell: more terms, more demands, even more restrictions! It was the last straw. The poor bride, and frankly, my entire team, were beyond their breaking point.

In a moment of sheer desperation, four days before the wedding, we made the audacious decision to switch venues. And that's when Ambient Plus Studios stepped in, like a freakin' miracle! From the moment I made that first call, I felt an incredible wave of positive energy, genuine understanding, and an unwavering “we’ll make this happen” attitude. They showed incredible empathy for our chaotic situation, worked tirelessly all day to explore every possibility, accommodated a last-minute site visit, and answered every single one of our frantic questions. We can finally breathe again!

The moment we stepped into Stage 1 at Ambient+Studios, we fell in love. This space is overflowing with character - from the solid wood floors to the stunning windows throughout the venue.

It was intimidating to plan something here (simply because the options were endless), but we worked with the on-site coordinators to create a wonderfully one-of-a-kind reception. While other venues had required caterers, inflexible schedules, and thousands of hidden fees, Ambient was unique in its transparent pricing and fully-a-la-carte buildability.

The staff was truly the best. Everyone we worked with was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about the owner, Jason. He took the time and care to walk us through everything we needed to know and patiently answered all our questions. He and his team were flexible and generous with their time, and they helped us bring our dream wedding to life.

I'm a photographer here in Atlanta, and I've worked with Ambient Plus since 2010, not long after they opened. It was the premier ambient light studio when it opened but they didn't stop there. It's now 4 stages of production heaven (5 if you count the Quonset)! I've worked out of each of their spaces and they all offer unique advantages and inspiration.

I work mostly out of Stage 4. It's a beautiful space, amazing cove cyc, incredibly spacious and very budget friendly (Particularly for photography clients). The staff are diverse in their expertise and exceedingly friendly. Their staff includes working and aspiring photographers/PA's, event planners, and set designers. It's rare a space has such a strong supporting staff. Most places you just get an empty room and a window. At Ambient you get more than your money's worth.
