ATL Glassworks — Attraction in Atlanta

Atl Glassworks has extremely high prices for basic things that you can learn online. I have always learned better in person so I booked a class figuring it would be an investment in my craft. I suffered a severe emergency and missed my class and following up with the company as soon as I was able to and was told that I can get zero refund or reschedule. So I am out $200+ dollars. What a nightmare. I understand small business cant take a loss on the supplies but it isn’t like they couldn’t be used in another class. A full or partial refund or reschedule would’ve helped me a lot in a time of need due to the emergency. I realized just how easy it is to learn online and will be going that route.

Edit to update: 50% off of a future class????? Like I'm going to come back when you can't give some grace for a mental health CRISIS .. not a "mental health day". I was not in a state to notify ahead of time or I would have. I didn’t just forget to put you on my calendar. Just because you're a small business doesn't mean you shouldn't treat people like people if anything you should more so. That is what makes good word of mouth for small businesses. So grateful that ATL Glassworks exists!! I’ve just started getting into the stained glass art form, and so I took an “Intro to Stained Glass” class and was able to make this flower suncatcher start to finish. Day is a really helpful and fun teacher and gives great demos/tips about technique throughout the class.
