Afro Centric Network was really cool! There were so many beautiful pieces. Bwori was extremely helpful. She showed me so many dresses and two pieces for an event I was attending. She was patient and supportive and not to mention, extremely beautiful. Her smile gave me confidence in each of the gorgeous looks she chose. I was able to spend quite a bit of time deciding which outfit I liked the best, and for that, I was grateful. The prices were decent given that African wear can get a bit pricey. I bought the shirt you see below as well as the pants to match for just about $80. So, it wasn’t bad. All in all, great experience that deserved 5 stars.

Visiting this spot is always a cool experience. I love the cultured variety of african apparel, art, supplements, and products. Some of my favorites are their herbal infused soaps and pomade for hair and beard. They also have palo santo at the counter. They're located on Lee Street near West End Marta Station. You'll want to take your time and look around while visiting because they have a massive supply of goods. They have an impressive collection of original artwork as well. This place is highly recommended if you're looking for quality and unique african garments for the whole family.

I'm biased. I've been shopping here it seems since I stepped foot in Ga back in 97. Centric is my absolute favorite store in the Atl. From the body care products, jewelry, statues, art, clothing that is actually from the motherland and not China are all amazing. The service is always pleasant and attentive. My daughter just received her wrap lessons. I literally just left there an hour ago. I can spend whole checks in there.

Usually, I love this place. I've been coming for over a year now. they have a lot of different oils and butters that you might be looking for. I wouldn't say it's the most friendly staff, but they will assist you with what you need.

Today's experience was a bit different unfortunately prompting me to write this review. I went in to find some earrings for a coworker who I knew would love the store. Even though it's significantly far out of the way (I drive over an hour to get to the store) I knew they would have exactly what I needed. They have an extensive handmade jewelry collection. The strange thing that I ran into was ...long story short being followed around the store by an employee. I was standing in front of the glass case, I had multiple pairs of earrings, laid out to choose from and a gentleman that was working there was just ... standing right in front of me looking. I said hello I asked him if I was in the way he said no and continued to just stare at me choose earrings. Then I proceeded to feel very awkward so I picked up the earrings, and went to the other side of the store where they have other sets of earrings and he continued to follow me to that side of the store as well. I then went to the Ring section by the front register and he positioned himself to watch me there as well. it didn't stop until I gave the sets of earrings to the gentleman that was working the register for him to hold on to for me while I looked for a few other items and picked out the oils that I wanted.

This is not my usual experience, but it was egregious enough for me to feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. I've never been followed around, but if this is any indication on how other people are treated in the store, I am very disappointed. As much as I love the store, I'll definitely be thinking thrice if I'll be back.

And just to clear up any questions I didn't walk in with any bags. I didn't walk in with anything "suspicious". I had a phone, keys, and...

Afrocentric Network, today 10/16/24 between the time 12-12:15pm I entered this store. An elderly woman with a curly wig who I know works here instantly watching and following me around the front end of the store. I've shopped at this location since 2018 and never experienced this type of disrespectful behavior. I didn't receive this type of behavior from the other staff who worked at this store otherwise I would've left. The elderly woman never asked me if I needed something which is also providing customer service. While I was completing my transaction purchasing a couple of items and I noticed more customers entering the store. The same elderly woman who very familiar with me since I've been shopping at this location for years watched me as I entered to use customers restroom before the store. I felt very targeted and profiled. Her behavior made me feel very disrespected. Of all the customers in that store I was targeted and I once again been at this location since 2018. If this is the type of customer service this store provides to customers especially me than I will not return taking my...

11/14/24. 12 noon. I shop this store twice a month. Stock up on my cocoa butter sage incense and all the other things that I like to buy. I've never had a bad experience until this day. The lady with the long bad weave or wig do not need to work the counter. Her attitude was horrible I've never experienced any attitude before. Normally I shop on Sunday after I leave service. I can't think of the lady name that works on Sunday she's the best. But this thing that was behind the counter on this day needs to be out back dumping the mop bucket. So I guess I have to only shop on Sunday when my sweet lady is there. I've noticed over the past year or so some of these employees at these black owned businesses are getting horrible. Get rid of these people cos you have some great customers/ clients that enjoy shopping and patronizing your stores and stops. However this type of behaviour will not...
