Spelman College Museum of Fine Art — Attraction in Atlanta

We had an amazing time at @spelman_college for viewing of the #threaded exhibit. It is amazing to think of the ingenuity, beauty, and social aspects of the black quilting experience. This exhibit is both a combination of black history, art, and culture. It was absolutely amazing, free, and ofcourse the sheer excitement of being on the campus of the historic Spellman College can't be understated.

The Harmonia Rosales Master Narrative exhibit is absolutely breathtaking. The exhibit moved me to tears while the stories unfolded. My favorite piece in this exhibition is Beyond the Peonies, 2021 (Oil on Canvas Mounted on Wood Panel).
