Area 4 Hair Salon — Attraction in Atlanta

This place is very personable and invested in your hair. The degree of hospitality they gave surprised me: it's kind of hard to express the quality of the experience that took me by surprise. The closest way to describe my experience is to say that the place was operated at a level of professionalism and warmth that I didn't know existed in real life. Perhaps it was because I was a first time customer, but all of their other patrons seemed comfortable and pleased with their experience as well.

Bailey was attentive in an approachable way that helped me explain my issues with my hair and get to a cut that I was satisfied with. Throughout the whole process she checked up with me frequently and gave me suggestions on how to give my hair more body and get it to be healthier again. She also took the time to walk me through the hair products they had on hand and also demonstrate how to use some of them.

Usually getting a hair cut is a necessary evil, like getting teeth cleaned or going in for a medical checkup. It's something I go in for when absolutely necessary with the expectation of a very meh, neutral experience that really isn't worth writing home about. The cut I end up with would just be okay and I'll just be like, cool, don't need to stop by for another year.

Here I was met instead with a passion and clear expertise in hair that completely threw me for a loop. I feel like I threw a dart blindfolded at Google Maps on 'Hair Salon Search' and hit the jackpot. I'm happy I can be a regular at a place that is this excellent...

I went into this salon a few days ago to get my layers fixed Since I was unhappy with my previous stylist. I saw some good reviews & called the salon. I was referred to Lisa saying she was level 4.

Unfortunately once I left the salon and saw my hair closely I was not happy. The teqnique she used to cut into my hair completely changed my texture and my thick full hair feels stringy and thin. When she styled my hair curly, the ends were all bone straight and so the style didn’t look nice. I love Lisa as a person, great conversation, great person, but I have to be honest that I took steps backwards letting her cut into my hair.

I feel a lot of salons that are in nice areas, and have stylists that are on a higher level false advertise. I do not feel these stylist get continuous education and it shows in their work. I will not be coming back to the salon & but I do adore Lisa and hope she continues with her education because I do not believe her techniques are up to par & I expected more from a level 4...

I had the pleasure of having Charity pamper me. She was fun to talk to and she did an AMAZING job on my hair. Although it was a rough start for me to actually get to the salon itself.... I walked in completely stressed from a very long week and fighting traffic for an hour to get to Area 4 Salon....I was immediately starting to feeling better about going as soon as I walked into the salon. The atmosphere there is welcoming. Their product display is plentiful and you cant help but to want to look at everything. The color and decor of the salon just make you feel comfy and warm. Charity did a great job on talking to me about my options on "fixing" a previous highlight and color job I had done elsewhere. She gave me helpful tips on how to maintain the quality of my highlights and color and I just could not have been happier. This salon knows what they are doing and I will definitely recommend everyone I know to Area 4 Salon. Thank you Charity for your AWESOME service and I cant...
