I've been coming here for a few months & the service was just okay. Nothing good enough to write a review about. But I had an encounter with the tech, Sam, that's making me write one now.
I was running late with my schedule for the day so I got there about 30 minutes before they closed in hopes that I could get SNS done. SNS usually takes 45 mins for me but I wasn't going to have time to come back through the week. I wasn't really expecting to be seen, and when the front desk girls asked if anyone was available they seemed like they didn't want to which I totally understood! But Sam came up and said he'd take me.
Sam was so patient the entire time. I guess I knew there was a possibility that he'd try to rush to finish them but he didn't. He also didn't have an attitude with me, he LISTENED to me (which can be an issue with technicians that think they know everything), and he cleaned up my nail with acetone to get the residual SNS power off my fingers. I have never had anyone do that! Not even the best techs. My nails look good. He was just so considerate & I really appreciated that. He's quiet, but complimented the color I chose. Definitely ask for him when you go! Also of note, I've had my brows done by 2 women here. One older (maybe 45-50?) and one younger (like 20s). And they both did a good job! Usually people mess my brow waxes up and make them too thin or undefined.
The 3 stars are for the time I came to the salon another time during business hours and they were closing early because they were slow. I told them I just wanted a quick brow wax and the brow people allegedly weren't there. That was irritating but I just went somewhere else.
Another reason is for David. DO NOT let him do your nails. Attitude for dayssss & whatever you tell him to do, he has some bs excuse or disregards what you want. He's just rude for no reason and my nails had this weird feel to the top coat. He's like the...

I got a pedicure done which wasn’t bad. Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out. It was the most basic pedicure they had on the menu and it took about 30 minutes from start to finish.
Where the problem came in was the gel only paint I got. I came in with my bare, natural nails. There was no paint they had to take off or anything. He didn’t do anything to my cuticles, cut them down with a clipper or anything (which is cool bc I only came in for paint). Well, he says to me “this will be $32”, I said okay bc I couldn’t quite remember what the cost was but I thought I saw $28 on the wall. Anywho, he proceeds and completes my gel paint in about 15-25 minutes. I was having both my hands and feet done at the same time so I didn’t really have much time to inspect until k was sitting under the dryer for my toes. Upon further inspection, I noticed the paint didn’t completely cover my nails. He just basically left the sides undone. So, I look for him to try to go directly to him and ask him to fix it. Couldn’t find him. So, I walk up to one of the ladies who didn’t even let me get one word out before she said “I didn’t do your nails. Go find somebody else”. Another lady realized how bad that sounded and stepped right in to help. So, we go find my guy and he tries to explain why he didn’t paint my whole nail. Long story short - I had to have a white women validate that it wasn’t done properly before having him redo it. He did it and was decent about it…not nasty or anything.
Will not be returning. Paid too much for them to rush and the quality...

The day before I visited Blanc, I went to another nail salon in the area and got a full set of acrylic nails with a gel polish finish. The nail tech left my nails ruined... the acrylic as lumpy, the acrylic was sealed onto my cuticles and she gave me a horrible shape. (I asked for round, I got dinosaur)
The next day, I called Blanc and they put me down for an appointment after I explained my dilemma. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted well and all of the nail techs assessed my nails. It was literally like they were about to perform surgery. They got Kimmy in (the head of surgery lol) and she was in disbelief, but she explained that she would do her best to first clear my cuticles of the excess acrylic, remold the acrylic to even out the lumps and reshape as best as she could. (They could not take the acrylic off because it was freshly sealed and they did not want to damage my nail bed)
She warned me it could hurt a bit but advised me to let her know if I was in pain and she would stop. She started the process and it did not hurt AT ALL. Kimmy was so delicate with her craft and she really did her thing! I am SO happy with the result. (See Before and After pics on business’s Photos)
Blanc is great and I am glad this location opened. Their location in Buckhead, Les Mains, is also very good but it was just too far from me.
Thank you so much Kimmy! You really saved my nails and...
