Kelsey Erin Salon — Attraction in Atlanta

I know reviews should be short but I can't say enough good things about my experience with Reagan at Kelsey Erin Salon. I reached out last minute, and not only did she make time for me, but she also messaged me the night before to make sure she understood what I was looking for — even though I wasn’t entirely sure myself.

After going through cancer and losing my hair, I’ve been struggling with how to feel like myself again. I used to have long, blonde hair. When it grew back after chemo, it was dark brown, streaked with grey, and curly — completely different from what I was used to. I felt lost, older than I am, and unsure of what to do.

I sent Reagan many pictures — all versions of a “maybe” — and she patiently took them all in. When I walked into the salon this morning, she created something I didn’t even know I wanted. She gave me a style that felt right — something that made me feel like me again, just a new version. The transformation was gentle, thoughtful, and deeply empowering.

It turns out I was Reagan’s first client at her new salon, having just relocated after her previous one closed. It truly felt like the universe aligned — she showed up at exactly the right time for me, and I am so grateful for that.

This was more than just a haircut. It was a moment of healing, a step back toward myself. Thank you, Reagan, for your talent, your kindness, and for seeing me when I wasn’t quite sure how...

As I was visiting GOOGLE to leave my review seeing the 5 star status of Kelsey Erin Salon isn't a surprise to me at all. I've been coming to this salon for about a year. Because I've been so busy I had scrapped professional hair color for $12 color in a box and it took its toll. I was not only in need of color but repair. Tvon has been amazing. My first visit was basically corrective but with definite additional beneficial results. She took me from a horrible red shade (I'd been dying my hair violet) to a very nice auburn. From there, once my hair was a normal natural color again, we've done balayage. Currently I LOVE my hair color and get compliments all the time on the improvement since I had taken matters into my own hands. Tvon is also an amazing stylist. It's nice to be able to go to the salon and see one person for everything...cut, color and style. She really takes the time to make sure we are on the same page and has done an exceptional job every time I've seen her. Above and beyond the skilled team of ladies I've met at Kelsey Erin their appointments are on time, the salon is beautiful and they are super accommodating. I've recommended them to everyone that has complimented me on my hair and I highly recommend them to you...trust me my hair was a mess before...

Went in for a consultation a while back for a balayage. I have naturally light brown hair and wanted to go to blonde. The stylist told me I would have to come in for a test strand, which would cost money and take an entire appointment day on its own. (What? I’ve never heard of charging for a test strand, let alone leaving it like that! Also I had virgin hair so why was a test strand even needed…?)

Then she told me it would take at least seven balayage sessions to get up to a dirty blonde. I’m sorry but that is insane.

I went elsewhere and found a stylist who did a normal consultation, first appointment he took me up to a lovely dirty blonde. Come next appointment I wanted to go lighter and he took me up to a nice cool-toned light blonde.

Seven sessions for a dirty blonde balayage starting from light brown virgin hair… and paying for the “test strand” (I don’t remember the cost anymore but it wasn’t even cheap).
