Only TWO areas for growth: presentation of the meal/steak and the fudge brownie. For the flavor and well-cooked filet mignon that I had, that steak should have been sitting on a gold crusted plate😍😋. The brownie just wasnt fudgie enough for my chocolate loving self. I only ate the ice cream 🍨 on top. From the exterior architecture to the bathrooms, the look and feel of the atmosphere was calming, peaceful, elegant, and well designed. My family and I went the day before Father’s Day at 1, right after they opened and it was all but empty except for a father and daughter at the bar and a girlfriends table in the corner: best timing, we practically had the restaurant to ourselves. My mother and I ordered a fuzzy navel 🍹 from the bar and it was delicious, well blended and strong. The bar tender was engaging and friendly >>>. We had to pay our tab at the bar before being seated. Our party of 10 needed 5 to sit but it was quick and the staff was kind and patient. Our waiter Roderick was fantastic - timely, professional, and friendly. He was also well versed on the menu and the cuts, helping me to choose a “better” cut than well-done. Though the first time my steak was brought out, it was cooked medium when I ordered medium-well, the cook staff was pleasant when I sent it back to be cooked up. They did a fine job and convinced me to stop eating well-done steaks, a feat I didn’t think possible. The sides were the garlic potatoes and onions. I didn’t realize the side of onions was a medium sized bowl. I would have preferred a smaller portion (who actually just eats a bowl of onions?) They we’re both really good though. I ordered a Pinot Noir to eat with my steak which was a bad pairing (still learning). The waiter suggested a different brand but most of their bottles, including his suggestion, are only served by the bottle. WHEN I return I will certainly try a different taste.

A very professional and seemingly intentional mixed and inviting rainbow of a staff. The Turkish owner seems to have ingeniously staffed his restaurant with a team representative of Atlanta's mixed visiting and permanent population. I was greeted at the door by a young Lady who just happened to be walking back to the front reception and she opened the door as I approached. I was alone and made my way to the bar where Calvin promptly greeted me and brought me two menus. The filet mignon was Excellent! Cooked medium with a beautifully blackened crust. The crust was not a thick one and it was indeed tasty. The meat texture was buttery and parts of the filet seemed to be marinated so that the flavor ran throughout. They do have a large wine selection that I did not find lacking in any one category and if you're a solo by the glass diner you will have about 25 different selections out of approximately 150 total selections. I'm not sure Calvin's position but he seemed to be of authority and the place was running like a vintage restored Mercedes-Benz engine. You could hear the complexity and appreciate it's calm but steadfast and reliable nature. I enjoyed listening to the shift change as a young lady came to report all the current going on's of her tables as her shift had apparently ended. Calvin left from behind the bar and took over her area seamlessly and with one hand behind his back I'm between guests outside the bar checked on me to see if I was ready to order another glass of wine as I had recently asked for the wine menu a second time. To which I replied that I wanted to close out and another gentleman behind the bar promptly closed my tab. I was thoroughly impressed from beginning to end.

I set up reservations via open table & there were many stipulations and penalties for large parties including mandatory gratuity & cancellation fees so a credit card was needed on file. We visited on a Wednesday evening, a party of 13 for a surprise birthday dinner for my mom. The ambiance is cool, dim lighting, spacious and many different dining areas to give different vibes throughout. The dining area closest to the entrance has more open concept and higher ceiling than the rear where we were seated. There service was just okay, we were running behind so the server seemed a bit impatient. We arrived 30 minutes late but some of the party had already been seated for the surprise. The server did not do a great job at explaining specials, wines or etc. He seemed a bit checked to be honest & in a hurry. My husband and I had the goat cheese risotto fritters, sesame seared tuna to start. The fritters were tasty but the tuna was not impressive. For mains we ordered the herb roasted chicken & the ribeye with a side of garlic mashed & fried lobster tail. The steak was supposed to be medium well but it was lacking the outer char with moist center. It was almost "wet". It was not flavorful or juicy. It was not what you expect from a steakhouse at that price. The lobster batter was tasty & crispy. The others ordered shrimp & grits, New York strip & rack of lamp, surf & turf & more. They shared our sentiments about the cuts, not as flavorful as expected. Overall, If you're going to pay steakhouse prices you should get steak house flavor. We had a decent time, drinks were good and the food was okay.

I am writing to expose the ongoing racism, discrimination, and worker exploitation happening at Cuts Steakhouse in downtown Atlanta and Suwanee, Georgia. This message is being shared anonymously for safety reasons, but the experiences described are real, disturbing, and need public attention.

At Cuts Steakhouse, Black customers are routinely watched, followed, and judged. The owner, his wife, and his niece stereotype Black guests as broke and untrustworthy. Servers have been told to check if Black diners have money before even serving them. Some are asked to pay before eating. These actions are rooted in racism and harmful assumptions that Black people are somehow less deserving of respect.

The treatment of Black employees is even worse. The owner, who is originally from Turkey, has been overheard referring to his Black staff as “his prisoners.” He does not speak to them directly, refuses to acknowledge them, and assigns them the hardest tasks. Many have been fired for no clear reason, while others endure constant verbal abuse and humiliation. The environment is hostile, toxic, and emotionally damaging—especially for those simply trying to do their job and earn a living.

The abuse doesn’t stop with Black workers. In the kitchen, the owner hires undocumented Mexican workers and takes advantage of their vulnerable status. He pays them far below minimum wage, knowing they can’t speak up or file complaints due to fear of deportation. He overworks them, underpays them, and uses their immigration status as leverage to keep them silent. This is not only unethical—it’s inhumane.

This is not just about one or two incidents. It is a pattern of racism, discrimination, and exploitation woven into the very culture of this business. The leadership at Cuts Steakhouse clearly sees minority workers and guests as less than human—as people they can disrespect, ignore, or control.

I am calling for a complete and immediate boycott of Cuts Steakhouse at both the Atlanta and Suwanee locations. No one should support a business that profits from racism and the abuse of vulnerable people. I also encourage media outlets, labor rights advocates, and civil rights organizations to investigate these claims further. Speak to former employees and customers—they have stories to tell.

Atlanta is a diverse city with a long history of standing up for justice. What’s happening inside this restaurant goes against everything our communities believe in. It’s time to stand together and demand better.

Enough is enough.

Overall I wasn’t impressed at all with Cuts. My husband ordered a ribeye steak and mashed potatoes. He liked his food. I ordered a ribeye steak and Caesar salad. Not impressed at all with my food. For appetizer we ordered the spinach dip. It was good. And dessert we ordered crème brûlée. For our babies we ordered the pimento Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. They ate it but I tasted it and it was not great by any means. My steak came out cold and over cooked. I ordered medium rare. It came out to me more on the medium side. My daughter’s mac and cheese and potatoes were also cold. The steak was also sweet in flavor. I don’t like sweeter marinated steaks. I prefer savory. But that’s my personal preference and to each their own. I was highly unimpressed overall with all the food. You’re paying A LOT for just a steak alone. It better be the best thing you’ve ever tasted. I can honestly say Texas Roadhouse steaks are better and not nearly as pricey. And I don’t even like Texas Roadhouse. The server was friendly but when it came to ordering for my kids he made a couple unnecessary comments. I ordered a soda for my kids. To which he said he wasn’t going to give my child a soda. I’m sorry but what I order for my children is MY business. We rarely go out to eat with our children and we only give them soda when we go out to eat as a special treat for them. And also made a comment about the soda might make them hyper. To which we told him no. It doesn’t. Btw we had several compliments about how well behaved and quiet our children were from the people sitting around us and even from the server himself after the meal. When I ordered two sides of the Mac and cheese and potatoes for 3 kids to share he questioned “how much do they eat” because the portions are “big”. I told him my children eat a good bit. My kids ate some of our appetizer, a roll each, and they still ate pretty much all of their macaroni and potatoes and the dessert too. The portions weren’t very large. We honestly could have ordered one macaroni and one potatoes for each of them instead of them sharing 2 portions of each and they’d have been full. He was nice otherwise. I just don’t appreciate being questioned about MY children. I have 5 kids but only brought my 3 youngest with us to eat. All of my children are very well behaved and...

Y'all This place did not disappoint! So my daughter and I were staying downtown , and desperately wanted some steak and lamb chops. So after the hotel steak house sent us all the way off and closed early we figured we stop here since we had saw earlier that day but didn't want to leave the hotel. So anyways it was super close walking distance. My daughter made our reservations as we where getting on the elevator, The person answered the phone name was Brandon he was polite and got us right in, so when got there We had just a very brief time until the table was ready to I went to the bar to have cocktail and when I tell you this was best Peach Tea I have ever had it was delicious. The bartender name was Dex he was super cool and made great drinks. By the time I got to the table my daughter had already sat down. We ordered appetizers ,new york strip, lamb chops, mash potatoes, rice, ceasar salad, and spin dip. I advised them of my alergies and the manager made sure that I order according since some things used the same fryer. Everything was perfect. I was so full. The left overs was left overing let me tell you it was even better the next day! Anyhooo..long story while paying for our check my daughter noticed she lost her wallet and she figured she left it in the car, so we left only to find out her wallet was not in the car, nor the hotel, nor the other place she had ate at earlier that day, our flight was leaving in a few ours so we had to leave and hopes that she had just left it at the ramen place she ate it. So we get back home, call everywhere we thought we could call to find out if the wallet came up , and NOTHING. She got a call yesterday From the CUTS steakhouse it was the manager and that she had left her wallet there , y'all not only did they find the wallet but they took the time to do the research to trace back whose it was and call her. And get this even better everything was still in it and she had cash cash yall. OMG I cant wait to go back , This place went above and beyond from the service to the food. White glove thru and thru. If I could give them a 1000 stars I would because that...
