First time here and we enjoyed ourselves! Came here for a birthday party there was also stand-up comedy the night we came the host and the two comedians that we seen we really enjoyed them. Unfortunately I didn't get our server's name but he was excellent he was very tentative always checking in brought everything he was awesome. This place has a very cool Vibe nice and spacious it was clean just a real relaxed place. This establishment does have valet parking we were told that it would be $10 the night of the event it was $20 and across the street it was $25. But where this place is located you can find parking on the street for free which is what I did I walked a little bit but it wasn't too much. When dining here it is a one ticket place they do not split tabs they do add a gratitude and then you can do whatever with your tip. We arrived around 7:00 p.m. one thing that stood out to me that I actually liked was they give you time to have your drinks and dine and right before the show they come and clean your table make sure everything is nice and tidy before the show you can keep your food there if you like but the flow of it was cool . And once the comedy show was done they then rearranged the tables off the floor so it can turn into a dance floor for later in the night I liked that too . Now I'll just mention a couple things as far as personal preference we did get a hookah it was $60 which I felt was a tad bit much you had to pay that on a separate tab you cannot get mixed flavors you can only pick one we had the watermelon mint and personally I did not enjoy the hookah it was very mild and it didn't taste as I suspected it should had it also ran out rather quickly. You can order at the table but I did go to the bar just to experience it I went to get a shot of tequila it was $11 for one shot. Personally for $11 that shot was rather small. My drink of the night was a Bob Marley the drink was great it tasted very good it was $18 and personally I feel for that price it could have been a bit stronger or the cup could have been a wee bit bigger but hey don't forget I'm speaking personally lol. For my meal I had the shrimp and grits with smoked gouda and creole sauce I've actually never had Creole sauce on shrimp and grits that was new for me and I enjoyed it. Nonetheless it was good that dish cost $24. I mean I can't complain my homegirl paid $24 for two egg rolls cut in half so that's that. If you are going to come to this established be prepared to have your pockets ready I'll just put it out there LOL. But all around I had a good time I can see myself returning With Friends if we're seeking to Just Vibe out have some laughs or even just sit for a night out I would pick this place. the comedians were interactive with the crowd which I love the jokes were funny they made the night. I would consider this place more so for mature audience I also seen plenty of couples. I cannot speak about later in the night because we left around 11:00 p.m. but there were a lot of people coming in during that time I'll have to experience that on...
Read moreA Disappointing Experience at Suite Food Lounge
Suite Food Lounge, a place often touted for its ambiance and dining experience, fell drastically short of expectations during a recent visit. The experience was marred by poor communication, substandard service, and overpriced offerings, ultimately leaving us and others dissatisfied.
The evening began with a significant oversight: the staff neglected to inform us that the lower part of the lounge was closed. We were allowed to sit there for two hours under the assumption that the kitchen would open at 6:00 PM, as promised. However, at 6:20 PM, we were informed that the kitchen was only open for the upper level, a crucial detail that should have been communicated immediately upon our arrival. This lack of transparency not only wasted our time but also set a frustrating tone for the evening.
Despite repeated requests, the staff showed little urgency in attending to us. After multiple reminders, water and a menu were finally brought to our table, but the service thereafter was deliberately dismissive. Staff members intentionally ignored us, leaving us feeling undervalued as customers. This disregard for basic hospitality was not an isolated incident; other patrons were similarly left waiting, only to be informed belatedly that their efforts to be served were futile. The lack of communication and attentiveness created a palpable sense of dissatisfaction among the guests.
The issues extended beyond service to the pricing and overall value of the dining experience. Observing the food served to other patrons, it was clear that the portions were small and did not justify the inflated prices. Additionally, the automatic gratuity added to every check appeared to encourage complacency among the staff. With guaranteed compensation, there seemed to be little motivation to provide attentive or courteous service.
In conclusion, Suite Food Lounge failed on multiple fronts: inadequate communication, poor service, overpriced food, and a system that disincentivizes quality hospitality. As a result, we will not return as patrons of this establishment. A venue that prioritizes its reputation should strive for excellence in every aspect of its operation, yet Suite Food Lounge demonstrated a glaring disregard for its customers’ time, comfort, and overall experience. This incident serves as a cautionary tale for those...
Read moreCame here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and had a reservation for 8:30 to sit on the rooftop lounge and watch the sunset; but apparently the rooftop doesn't open on Friday's until 10pm which is not explicitly stated on the website which is disappointing...that was a major reason why I chose this place. We didn't order any food, as we had already had dinner and just came to enjoy hookah and a few drinks. We ordered two Amaretto sours, which tasted like juice. Barely any alcohol, and didn't even get a buzz. Just straight sugar, and was told by our server that, "that's how amaretto sours are supposed to taste."...even though i just left a restaurant and ordered two that tasted AMAZING; the perfect balance between liquor, sweetness, and citrus. So no, they're not just supposed to taste like that. We didn't drink the drinks because they tasted horrible, and when asked for them to be removed from the bill, we were told all alcohol sales were final (which is fine...but we also were not discounted or even offered any accommodations at all for the fact that we didn't like our drinks.) Hookah is over priced for the quality...hookah here is worth $40 at best, but they charge $60. Drinks are over priced for the quality. Super basic and nothing special. This place doesn't know if it wants to be a night club, comedy club, sports bar, hookah lounge, or a restaurant. Nothing wrong with mixing ideas, but the place was literally so overstimulating we couldn't even enjoy ourselves. They were playing music in one section of the dining room, and in the other half of a the room, there's a loud comedy show with different music being played that clashes, so there really was no vibe happening. Bathroom was dirty. Ambience in person is nothing like what they try to make it seem like in the photos online...and service/hospitality, forget about it. Pretty much non existent besides a server passing by with a simple, "y'all good? 👍🏼" before breezing past. It took the hookah girl at least 20 minutes to come over to our table..and she may have been preoccupied, but that just means they have to be short staffed because it wasn't that busy. Don't waste your money. I can think of MUCH better ways...
