Nice park. Good to walk around. If you have children they have a good playground. Gets very busy at times. Has adequate parking but if you want to go there get there early to get a good parking spot. Bathrooms are open. They are clean. Various places in the park to grill and have a gathering. You can reserve the covered areas with the park for your party. Park itself is cleaned daily, workers pick up the trash etc. Have a great day. Be safe. This is an update. Was there a few days ago and this park is still really very nice, the park personnel do their most best to keep this place very clean and they really do. They have an awesome children's play area slides etc and it's really nice. Plus you can walk there and enjoy the trees. The river is right there and you go down to it easily from the park.. there are two dumpsters that you can put your picnic trash in it etc. Some people do abuse this though and throw furniture etc in there so just be aware of that. The other trash bins elsewhere all around the park. Bathrooms are open at this time and the crew comes in in the morning to clean them and sanitize. There is parking but sometimes it gets full so be aware of that. This is one of my favorite parks you can also reserve a space at the park for a family get together picnic whatever. That's all for now on the update everybody be safe enjoy your family...
Read moreIsaac Evans Park along the Green River is a lovely park. It is across the road from the Auburn City Golf Course. There is a mile long paved hiking trail over mostly level ground; no climbing. There are a few branches to go around what can be congested areas in the summer and on holidays. There is access to the river for fishing, swimming and wading. There are metal and wood tables (some) with attached seats and a few park benches faced toward the river. A child play area for young children has 2 short zip rides and typical junglejyms over soft wood chips. There is a small restroom that closes in winter and is replaced by a nearby porta potty. There is a sign on the building saying whether it is open or closed. Dogs are welcome when their owners keep them on leash and bag all fecal material. Park is generally well maintained and clean. There are well spaced chained trash cans that are emptied at least once a week and after holidays when many people celebrate at the park. Generally a friendly crown with children and animals. There is a nice pavilion that can be reserved once it has been raised; a huge tree fell on it over a year ago. It is the only place a drinking fountain exists...
Read moreWe love this park for the zip lines Edit. We used to love this park until we got blocked in the parking lot while a huge party of people decided to throw on lights and sirens and circle the lot about 20 times blocking is in. We waited and asked if they could pull over to the side so we could pull out. They told us no we had to wait. We sat there over 30 min while they left their trucks blocking the entire parking lot. Got out went to do other things and refused to move any truck. So one guy was nice after we sat there over 30 min and moved his car that was behind us. We had just loaded the boats in the truck to it's not like I had a small car. I had to back out of the parking lot onto the street advoiding the trucks left all over the parking lot. We were late for our event but I'm glad they got to stop all traffic for theirs. Don't try to go to this park on the weekends. The car club takes...
