I never post reviews, but felt compelled to after seeing some of these reviews that have more to do with some dudes' thoughts on vaccines than Repenning Fine Arts' classes and framing. I started going to Repenning as a kid, and it was the perfect atmosphere for fostering a real love for art, as well as a sense of individuality and self confidence. Honestly it was such a blessing during those tough teenage years -- and I still attend class at RFA 20+ years later.
I credit Jim Repenning for the fact that painting and drawing are a lifelong hobby for me. I never liked music and art classes as a kid where everyone was expected to paint the same thing or play some boring tune the same way. At RFA, Jim and Kristin and their other instructors encourage artists to explore the subjects and mediums they are interested in -- and provide individualized instruction to help them become their best.
