Just picked up order. Here's good/bad. Fries- Good/ not greasy soggy as most take home places Bad/ no taste. Taste like they were reheated. Ordered cheese fries...got no cheese.
Got Garlic-tomatoe pizza. Good/ tastes good. Bad/ hard chewy crust.
We used to go here at least couple times a month before new owners. Menu was small but everything was very good.
Now new owner has a very expanded menu and food appears to have suffered. Fries were always fresh and tasty. Now...no so much.
Garlic tomato pizza was always delicious and worth every cent. Now..chewy hard crust.
We had no issue driving a ways to get great food. Now it's seemed to have become just another pizza shop with just average food.
Should have stuck with the smaller menu and focused on that making it all great instead of having too many things not to be able to make any one thing more than average.
Who needs 20 different cheesesteaks? Make a few...
Read moreRalph's advertises menu items come with appetizers that it actually doesn't come with. Manager was combative and adamant I was wrong until I literally pulled out my phone and showed her the menu very clearly stated what I said it stated. Then she claimed that was only for people that dine-in despite that not being mentioned on the menu at all.
Also, between 2:45 and 5PM the restaurant is essentially a day care center for unsupervised screaming children.
At least she was nice enough to offer me a refund. For that they get 2/5 stars. I took my business to Villa Rosa in Haddonfield instead. It's a little more expensive, but the food was way better, it was ready in 5 minutes, and at least the menu didnt falsely advertise appetizers that dont actually come with the meal.
I used to like Ralph's a lot and went there frequently, but I wont be back until they get rid of the false advertisements and get the kids...
Read moreRalph's was my childhood pizzeria, so I may be biased. I remember going on Friday nights, being greeted by Ralph, and always feeling recognized and welcome. That being said, they have some of the best tri-state area style pizza around. For locals, I mean pizza, and for outsiders I mean what's called "New York Style." Thin crust, fresh tomato-y sauce, and rich, tasty cheese. Every pizzeria's oven has a particular flavor, and Ralph's is warm and subtle. You can get fancier gourmet pie style pizzas if that's your jam, or just a classic pie as I like. They also have all the local Philly sandwiches, and all are delicious. It's a cozy and extremely friendly place that hasn't changed (with the exception of the addition of Francesca's Room at the back) since I was a young'n. If you are in Camden County, and are craving a delicious Italian meal, or a quick slice, I strongly recommend...
