Trouble Brewing Coffee House — Restaurant in Haddon Heights

I want to start by saying the lady who helped us with our order was amazing. Super sweet and knew what she was talking about. We got 3 drinks (shaken espresso) and an oatmeal for our son. $35 with tip. Not terrible but also not great. Atmosphere was nice. Not my favorite decor but nothing wrong with it either. Just not my taste. Again nothing wrong with that. Also should invest in highchairs. Now the drinks were absolutely terrible. I was thankful there was a trashcan next to where I parked. They went in immediately. My husband tried them as well and agreed. They weren't tasty at all. The banana Foster was what I could imagine pond water tasting like. The strawberry shortcake was just an acidic sweet if that makes sense. The oatmeal was just oatmeal. Nothing fancy. I won't be back. I'd rather get convenient store coffee. At least that tastes better. I don't know if it was the guy who made it who didn't know how to balance flavors or used ones he wasn't supposed to but it was awful. As a REALTOR, i am up rising and Shining early everyday reviewing my to-do list and the best way for me to do that is with coffee! Two cups:-) so I have made it my hobby to visit coffee shops wherever I'm at - to work, and to enjoy the local small business Java.

Trouble Brewing was amazing with their tumeric latte and house special - chicken salad. The barista was on point, friendly and quick! Plenty of people around working, gabbing and just enjoying their morning and I could tell taking all THOSE pictures had a few curious as to my intent. My intent? Good java a bit of the in house special - chicken salad on rye! Ambiance was warm and friendly. I snuck out the side door just because I was curious to see the "alley" exit. I will be back.

I love this coffee shop & I’m excited to come back and try more of the food/drinks on their menu. It was pretty busy this morning, but the staff was still very friendly and helpful. Our orders also came up pretty quickly for how busy it was! The restaurant itself is so cute - I love how it’s decorated with the gallery wall and variety of seating. Perfect place to get some work done because there is a lot of seating inside and outside with their wifi password on the wall. There’s also a free little library with some good book selections so I’ll definitely be back...
