Farmers' Market at Mill Park — Attraction in Augusta

I am a big fan of farmer's markets and always try to go. This market is much better if you get there close to opening. These markets have a reputation of being expensive but with inflation this is less true. It is not unusual to find something below supermarket prices. And better quality. I like being able to purchase only a small quantity. The market is also good for trying something new. Usually the farmer or someone in line can help with an idea or recipe. I would love to see the market grow...

I recently went to the farmers market at Mill Park for the first time and absolutely loved my trip there! Though be warned; I went with a set budget in mind and ended up going way over because there was just so much that I couldn't pass up! Spices, Fruits, Veggies, Honey, Plants, Tea, Syrups, So many beyond delicious baked goods, drinks, Oil, Vinegar, Flowers, and so much more!!! There is definitely something for everyone and every price range! I highly recommend...

I stopped here to buy rhubarb before getting my rhubarb bed growing well. The person I bought it from had really large stalks at reasonable prices so I bought several. My strawberry/rhubarb pies are very well liked and this rhubarb, along with the strawberries I picked up made everyone quite happy at our next cookout.
