I don't care who you are, where you come from, or what you walked in looking for, you will find something special at this little family operated market right in downtown Augusta. I've bought so many delicious, unique, and hard to find culinary treats there. I've found great deals on bulk spices, beautiful red lentils, some randomly amazing colognes from Dubai, matte, chai, an awesome Turkish coffee pot, hot fresh pita (currently in my non-typing hand, lol), and most importantly some really excellent conversation and customer service from the young man that works there most of the time when I go in.    Read moreFantastic variety of products that you can't get in other stores around here. The prices are surprisingly affordable, considering current inflation nonsense. I think it honestly proves other stores could give us better prices if they wanted to. Large bottles of spices at great prices that will last you a long time. Probably a better idea to get your spices here instead of at the big grocery stores. There is a refrigerated and frozen section that I will have to explore more in the future. I loved the unique drinks and snacks that I found here. The owner is super nice and I look forward to going back again...
   Read moreI was so happy to find this market in Augusta!! Unfortunately you usually have to drive to Portland to find any authentic spices and ingredients outside of the mainstream. The owner and his son were so helpful and very kind! I picked up mung beans, pink Himalayan sea salt and Za'atar spice. They carry a wide variety of ethnic and mainstream spices/ herbs for way cheaper than local grocers. They also have grocery items, meats, breads, etc. Just go and see what kind of cool new ingredients...
