Owner and artist, Ramiro "Slap" Guillen, has easily one of the most diverse shops in the area. They have a variety of styles covered. Everything from New School to realism to portraits can be found at Artistic Theories. The shop also doubles as an art gallery featuring art exhibitions throughout the year.

I went to artistic theories about 2 1/2 years ago to have a sleeve finished. I went to another shop originally and not only was ripped off of $1000+, I got a horrible start of a sleeve. I had seen some of Slaps work from a buddy that went to him, and thought I’d give him and the shop a try. Needless to say, but he finished that sleeve and will be going over the original part to fix it and we’re 3/4’s the way done with my other sleeve.
