I’ve tried this coffee place twice with a friend and my boyfriend and I loved it. I went today by myself and I waited at the register to order for three minutes and I understand that there’s things that have to be done in the back so I walked over by the door and I said “ Hi, excuse me, I’m ready to order” Very politely because I’ve worked at a coffee place before and know there is things to be done in the back I went to the register and waited for a minute. She got out of the back room ,no smile, No hi or hello , And no sorry on the hold up or anything. She got on the register and said what do you want? And I told her my order and I was still being polite and saying please and thank you. She made my drinks and forgot whipped cream on mine, and while she was making my sandwich, I asked her “ When you get the chance , could I get some whipped cream on my drink?” . The girl ignored me, continued making my food and somebody else got in the line. Then she put my sandwich in the oven she snatched my drink from me didn’t say a word took the person’s order and then put whipped cream on my drink after she finished taking the order, put my drink back on the counter and did not say a word to me. I’m very upset because I really liked the drinks and food but after this incident and interaction with this girl I’ll just go to Moka or Starbucks instead . I didn’t get the girls name because there was no name tag but she had one some necklaces and jewelry on and her hair was in braids . I went in the morning at...
Read moreMy family loves the Plainfield location, so when we saw that a new location would be opening a little closer to home, we were excited to try it. However, our first experience here was disappointing.
I'd placed a curbside order (and was excited for this option, as I had my young son with me) and pulled in at the pick-up time noted on my receipt. After 10 minutes of waiting, we went in to pick up in store, thinking maybe they just didn't see our car, but found out that they hadn't seen our order come in at all. We only had two drinks and two sandwiches, and the place was nearly empty with 3 folks working, so I thought it'd be a quick wait. No worries!
However, a friend of one of the workers came in and was able to get their drink and food before us, despite us placing our order nearly 30 minutes earlier.
We eventually were out of the door just under an hour after we originally ordered. I understand that this location just opened, and if it were packed or understaffed, the wait would have been more understandable. The drinks ended up being okay, and the food was good. Overall, we'll be waiting a while before visiting this location again...
Read moreAbsolutely LOVE Krema. It's a favorite as I work right up the steeet from the Plainfield location. That is what prompted me to check out the North Aurora location. Beautifully done, as I wouldnt expect any less. Love Oak and Bean in Oswego, as Kacie owns that space also. She has done a wonderful job with all of her businesses. Support and Sip local! Krema is cozy and offers a great menu. Love the artwork too. A friend of mine has done all of her art, and it really adds to the uniqueness and character of her spaces. She has a wonderful vision. Bravo! I got a Krema club bagel, avocado toast and a coffee. Enjoyed chatting with the lady who served me as well. Its always nice when you don't feel like just a customer, but have fun conversations while waiting for your items. Definitely check it out if you get a chance! Small Business Saturday on the 30th is a great start!!! We need more of these places to continue to ...
