Honey Berry Pancakes and Cafe — Restaurant in Batavia Township

My husband and I arrived excited to try this new place out today. We were seated and waited 15 mins for our waitress to come and take our order. It wasn’t that busy and there weren’t a lot of people there. The only person that came by was the bus boy with water. We continued to wait and still no one. We did notice an older employee walk by us a couple of times but never approached us. The hostess didn’t even come by to check if anyone has come by. At this point I told my husband that it would be best to leave. As we came to the front the hostess was there with another waitress and I said to them that we were leaving because no one ever came around. You can tell by the first bite that this is a high quality pancake. I didn’t get the full experience by dining in (uber eats order) so I can’t say much about service and atmosphere. With fall creeping around the corner, I had to order their pumpkin pancakes. I was really excited to try them, but to my disappointment, I could barely taste the pumpkin flavor; It just tastes like a standard pancake to me with maybe a hint of pumpkin. With that being said, these have got to be the best quality pancakes I’ve ever had. You can tell right away that they use high quality ingredients, the presentation is beautiful and the portion size is very generous. First the atmosphere is amazing! Very open and airy and the tables are not on top of one another. I ordered a hot chocolate and it came in a large, coffee house mug, chocolatey, creamy and covered in a delicious whipped cream. The Ham & Cheddar eggs have no shortage of cheddar nor ham. The ham is cubed and smokey flavored! I ordered the fresh fruit (which was fresh and not frozen) and the 2 pancakes. Best plain pancakes I have ever had. Light, and flavorful, not dense. I didn't even use the maple syrup that is served on the table.
