I had a party booked for my son and spent over $700. We received the worst service I’ve ever received while having a party at a business. This began the moment we walked in. I stated I was there for a party I booked and I gave my name and my son’s name and was told there was no party in that name. I had to wait for the manager (black shirt) to come over, after confirming to the employees that I did have a party I then had to provide proof that I had paid my balance, which they should have had this in their system. I had to stand there and go through my emails. We walked ourselves to the room and later came the manager. He took my food order that was included in the package, 2 cheese pizzas and 2 pitchers of drinks. We agreed food could come out at 5:45p. I told him we would like additional food and he walked me over to the register where I ordered. A sausage pizza and a pepperoni pizza. While waiting for my guests I ordered some coffee and nachos and paid. I was then told there was no coffee and no cheese for the nachos (7.99 each nachos). I was told there was no cheese so I could pick something else from the menu so I picked 2 orders of fries and did not receive a refund for the difference. After some time the fries came and it was one small basket so I paid $16+ for a small basket of fries because when I went to tell the manager I was possibly missing a fry he said they put them together. Fine, whatever, told him ok fine. At 5:45p we returned to our tables to eat and the 2 cheese pizzas had been sitting out for a while so they were cold and hard. The rest of my order was not there. I went over to the counter and asked about the sausage and pepperoni pizza and was told there was no sausage. I asked why I wasn’t notified of this as my guests were sitting waiting to eat. Turns out not even the pepperoni had been made yet so we had to wait additional time. While speaking to the manager about the additional food and having to wait he continued to have a snapping attitude when speaking and saying there was a lot going on. When it was almost dead in there. Anyway, after agreeing to wait for the additional pepperoni pizzas, he had the nerve to walk me to the register to try to find my transaction to prove that I had paid for the additional pizzas. I told him he had literally walked me there earlier to place the order!! Eventually he found the transaction and tried to say my entire order was 3 pizzas and I then had to stand there and explain to him my package came with 2 pizzas which were the cheese and then I paid the 2 additional so 4 pizzas! Once I explained this he quickly realized I was right, but I was already so concerned that it seemed they kept trying to scam me, first the nacho situation and then the pizzas. One of the employees watched this entire situation of him and I going back and forth about the additional pizzas and she apologized for him when he walked away. While waiting for the additional pizzas I ordered 4 pitchers of drinks and stood there waiting for them for about 10 minutes. They brought 2 to the tables without my knowledge and then I had to go back and tell them I was missing 2 more. I expected this location to be more than a Chuck E. Cheese experience but even at Chuck E. Cheese you don’t have all these issues and some type of host. I totally get there’s might not be enough employees but for the amount of money people come to spend there should’ve been someone checking to see if everything in our room was okay. I honestly don’t plan on booking a party again here and pretty disappointing as my kids had a blast with the games and attractions but not worth the stress I went through on the customer service side of things. Being hugely pregnant I expected to have such an easier party time but I had to keep going back and forth. I hope my feedback is taken into consideration for your future parties and...
Read moreMy friend & I brought our 12 & 13 year olds in on Saturday afternoon. We paid about $80 for both kids to play for 2 hours which is pretty standard/reasonable.
I have some mixed feelings about the visit, but I’ll start with the good stuff!
The good:
VR systems are super cool Arcade games are free play & included w/ admission Music was ON POINT. Idk who’s playlist or what station it was, but they had some JAMS on. Foam pit, ropes course, trampolines, dodgeball, soft play area, basketball, inflatables, & the airbag pit were great Tons of seating, nice pool tables, & some really cute party areas! The facility itself was very bright, new & clean, including the bathrooms Even when it got busy it didn’t feel overcrowded and crazy, & there was still plenty of seating. Digital wristbands/watches are cool! The watch has blue lights on it while your jump time is active, and they turn red when time is up.
The mildly disappointing:
No employees manning the climbing wall features, and staff said “I don’t know, it’s probably closed”. Bummer for the kids, bc they were pumped to climb. 3 out of the 4 mini bowling lanes broke down about an hour into our visit. (They were actively working on fixing them when we were leaving though) There were NO snacks available to buy. No chips, nachos, fries, etc. as advertised and shown on the menu board. They only had pizza & pop. The kids could have used a little snack like chips or something halfway through and we couldn’t bring our own snacks in. The food counter service was a bit spotty, and we went in expecting the full bar, but that’s not up and running just yet. Not a world ending issue, just a bummer for the adults bc the bar is advertised on the site. The larger VR stuff up front requires staff assistance to operate, but there was definitely not enough staff to help operate them all consistently and a few were broken & unusable
The major concern:
The “Ninja Course” was open, and at least visually appeared to be inflated at the bottom. It was the first thing our kids wanted to do. However, when they got going & fell off the course onto the mat, they landed straight on the solid floor or concrete underneath because the mat was not even close to being fully inflated. When I let the staff know, they did close it off promptly (by leaning a gym mat in front of the entrance) and start to inflate the mat. It was closed for the rest of our time there so we didn’t get to utilize that either. It definitely feels like that should have been found in some sort basic of pre opening safety check.
I know a lot of time and maintenance goes into keeping places like these up and running safely and efficiently, and I think at some point this place will be great! But it feels like they’re still working out some kinks and could do with some additional safety precautions & staff.
4 stars because I feel like 3 would be unfair, considering that the kids did have fun & there’s a lot to do here even though some good stuff was broken/closed. I’ll probably wait a bit to see how they improve before we try to go back, and we’ll opt for an hour next time...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with this place and will never be back. Extremely inconsistent employee staff here and ran by a bunch of kids. I visited for the 2nd time today. First time was for my friends sons birthday and today my son wanted to go for his birthday. We got there right at noon when they opened and played for 2 hours. During that time at least 3/4 of the teenage employee staff were on their cell phones while they were supposed to be working, I guess. Not 1 employee seemed kid friendly at all. My daughter, age 5, wanted to do the rock climbing wall because she did it the previous visit. Of course it was roped off and looked closed. I asked an employee, which was vigorously playing a game on his phone, if the wall was open. He looked shocked he had to work. He looked at me and said he would be there in a minute. He looked at my daughter and said "age limit is 10". That's funny because she's done it before at the same place. I explained that to him and he let her on. When other kids saw her on the wall they all lined up. I then asked the front desk girl what the age limit is for the wall, since it wasn't posted anywhere. She said well there isn't really a limit just so the harness fits the child. Huh? Say what? I asked to speak with the manager. Another young girl came up claiming to be a manager. I asked her what the age limit was. She said 10. Ok great. Where's the sign? Extremely rudely replied "there is no sign would you like me to make one?" Excuse me? Yes! Please. By all means if you are going to enforce a rule it should be posted!! Another 80 mins or so went by and it was time to leave. No sign was ever posted. The cat walks near the wall were also closed the entire time we were there too. For $220 today I definitely expected more. No thanks. Won't be back again. Please take your children somewhere else. The staff here cares more about their cell phones than your children...
