Went in to ship a flat rate envelope overnight to Florida. I was charged $64.00 to send it overnight. It was just a flat envelope!! I actually went out to my car and googled how much it costs to send a flat rate piece overnight and found responses of between $25-$30.00 which is basically what I thought I would pay. I went back in the store and inquired about this and said there has to be an error and I was assured there was not. I was told that's the price that's in the computer. I'm all for everyone making money but that's ridiculous. I've been there in the past and shipped lots of items at Christmas time, but never again. I like being loyal, and especially supporting businesses in my community, but I'm also not going to be foolish enough to pay those kinds of prices. Read moreOnly bad experiences. First time they asked me for my driver's license to send a package! The second time I wanted to return something to Amazon and the same lady asked for my phone number. Yesterday I went for the last time ever to return a package to Amazon. I didn't have the box because it came inside a big box with other items from other vendors,but I had the email and pictures of the box. She didn't let me explain. And say NO. I went to another location, where they let me show my emails and QR code. They explained why they asked for the box, but also said it wasn't necessary because they have UPS bags and boxes to help customers. When I thanked the person helping me for her patience, the person next in line also told us that she was at the same UPS on Galena, and was turned away after me. I messed up an Amazon return when I didn't have them scan a barcode for one of the items I brought in because I thought two items were under one barcode. Three hours later, after a really bad day, I realized my mistake so I called the store to explain They actually went through the effort of locating my packages so that I could get my full refund for both items.
