Hilltop Park — Attraction in Aurora

The park in itself is wonderful but when you get a gazebo and have a birthday party there you have so many yellow jackets buzzing around your kids it makes you worried. Now I understand it's outside and bees live there but seriously you shouldn't have to kill 42 yellow jackets in an hour and a half!!! Parks and recreation are failing us as a community at large. There are nests in the gazebos walls and there are hundreds of wasps in the Park area and where kids play everyday. It's dangerous and it needs to be addressed. Otherwise the playground equipment is amazing for a range of kids from 3 to 15 without problems. I sincerely hope that parks and recreation fixes this serious danger to our...

Nice quiet location. Picnic area. Swing set designed for both toddler and bigger kids (I was very excited about this!) Basic play equipment. Two sets. One designed for older kids to climb on, 3 slides sided by side, bother just a bit taller the the next. Perfect little park for family gatherings with plenty of shelter houses equipped with charcoal grills. Safe concrete trails that loop around the park. You can chose the short or longer path of your choice. Nice little play area for the kids and I noticed their portable bathrooms are cleaned on a 5-day schedule. Trash is regularly emptied.
