Try some vegan brownies 🤌 ▢ 4 tablespoons ground flax ▢ 1/2 cup water ▢ 1/2 cup vegan butter (earth balance brand), melted *see instructions ▢ 1 cup granulated sugar ▢ 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed ▢ 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract ▢ 1 cup all purpose flour ▢ 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder ▢ 1/2 teaspoon salt ▢ 1 teaspoon baking powder ▢ 1 cup non-dairy chocolate chips OR roughly chopped chocolate pieces
Make the flax eggs by stirring the ground flax and water in a small bowl. Set aside to thicken. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a 7 x 11 pan with parchment paper. Melt the vegan butter (earth balance brand preferred), and measure 1/2 cup. I do this by microwaving the vegan butter in a glass measuring cup, in 30 second intervals, until melted. In a large bowl, whisk the melted vegan butter and sugars together. Add the flax eggs and vanilla, whisk until evenly combined. Over the same large bowl, sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Add the salt and baking powder and stir with a large wooden spoon until just combined, do not over mix. Fold in half of the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top with a spoon or your hands. Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top of the batter. Bake for 35-40 minutes. The brownies may still be bubbling and not look done, but they will firm up a lot as they cool. Remove from the oven, allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then pull the brownies out, using the parchment paper and let cool for another 15-30 minutes before slicing...
Read moreFor starters Des and Paula are both AMAZING employees. Product knowledge... CHECK. Customer service... CHECK. Ability to multi-task... CHECK. Started with Des a few weeks back and she got me completely setup with a new plan and phone while juggling several other customers (the store had just opened and was very busy). I had to figure out my plan situation with my ex and Des was very patient and accommodating over several hours. I was all set up and my phone ordered by the time we finished up. I received my new phone a couple days later and struggled with transferring all my information from one phone to the new one. So, I stopped in yesterday and worked with Paula. She was also busy at the end of the day but multi-tasked with the customer she was with and helped me answering some questions. After spending an hour or so figuring out the best course of action to take, transferring all my old data over she also assisted me in purchasing multiple new accessories for my phone (Android over Apple, Paula lol). At the very end of the day two customers came in just before the store closed and the woman was extremely rude to Paula. Yet, Paula maintained a very professional demeanor with the customer, as she left before I did, even hoping she had a great rest of her weekend. If these are the kinds of employees AT&T has in all their stores I'll NEVER fear walking into a phone store again. Keep up the good work ladies and thank you very much for all...
Read moreWent in today to backup my iCloud on my new phone. I was being helped by an employee for a few minutes until he had a friend come in and without a single word, he went to the back and grabbed his stuff and walked out with his buddy. I was like there's no way he just left, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited for his return for about 5 minutes. Once I realized he was gone for good I asked the manager Lee (who had been sitting there the whole time noticing I was no longer being helped) if the guy who was helping me was gone for good. He said 'yeah he left for the day what do you need?' First of all, I need some service otherwise I wouldn't be here right now. Second, It was no shock to him that he had left without asking if I had gotten the backup done or if I needed anything else. Third there was NO apology. If you work in customer service, learn some damn customer service. I eventually went home and figured it out on my own. Absolutely ridiculous. If I could I would give zero stars. I will NEVER be back in that...
