Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Aurora

Came in after the gym for lunch and WIFI to work a bit around 12:30pm on April 6th, 2018. There were 3 employees I could see and one other customer. No line, no wait, a very slow period where sufficient attention could be paid to each customer to make them feel special and appreciated...or at least get their order correct the first, second, or third time.

The cashier that took our order was not friendly at all. We specified when ordering that one sandwhich was on poppyseed and one was on wheat; this was not rung up and I had to ask again for the bagel types. Ultimately, our sandwiches were still made on the wrong type of bagels. A couple behind us also said that their bagel types were wrong as well. We were not asked about our sides and were given our sandwiches with no pickle and no side. When I asked if the sandwiches still came with sides and a pickle, I was given a strong negative attitude and asked "Oh, did you still want your side?" Additionally, we asked for 2 coffees, specified this 3 times, and were still only rung up and given one. I've been to many bagel shops (even worked in one when younger) and have never had such a poor experience. I would recommend using this as a very specific coaching opportunity to improve the employees performance before others have similar experiences and the store's reputation is further damaged.

Suffice it to say, I will now take the longer trek to the other store on the south side of Cherry Creek Reservoir next I was a bagel sandwich.

2019.03.03 update - For the record, I did contact the owners via the email provided in their response and received no response. To me, a company responding that they want to help and then ignoring me is worse than them never having responded at all. It's been almost a year and my family and friends have still not patronize...

All the time I go in here and get a egg bagel for breakfast. the staff is very nice, very friendly, very good customer service! but they're always out of bagels and then if you get an egg sandwich 80% of the time the egg is going to have so much salt on it that it makes you choke it's disgusting. I go here a lot and this happens all the time I don't see how they don't have complaints all day everyday about it. I never eat in. I grab my food usually on the way to work, so grab and go. You have no idea how bad it sucks to spend so much money and end up disappointed more times than not. Very frustrating I've told the employees multiple times. Nothing changed, the guy with the long blondish hair and beard, is the worst if you see him making the eggs you can guaranty your getting a salty egg that'll make you feel like you're going to have a heart attack from one bite. He's not the only over Salter there. there's multiple people that do it, even at other Einsteins locations there's some that over-salt the eggs. when you get the one that's over-salted it ruins your day. And if you try to choke it down to get your money's worth you literally feel like you're going to have a heart attack and feel like s*.

I apologize for the bad review I hate putting bad reviews I will take it down in a week or so. I guess I just couldn't handle it anymore I get Einsteins pretty much every day! and I used to come here to this location everyday and I stopped I go to Parker and Arapahoe, they almost always have the bagel I want and less of a chance of a heart attack. If you get a bagel that's made right it makes your day they're amazing and taste great! So I'll be back hope with better...

I dislike giving negative reviews, but I have had about enough with the staff of this particular Einstein Bros Bagels. Let''s list the positives: the bagels are very good, the schmear is yummy, the sandwiches are good, and the bagel selection is abundant. However, every single time I have attempted to order from this place, my order has been incredibly screwed up...and it is always the same girl behind the counter who manages to NOT EVER UNDERSTAND what I am ordering. I am speak clearly, in plain English, and wait until I know exactly what I want, and then order. But, somehow, the staff cannot ever get my order right. It's not rocket science, it's a bagel joint. I have tried a number of times, but without fail, my order is never correct. For example, I ordered two breakfast sandwiches, and asked clearly for one of them to be no egg. What's on the sandwich? Egg. I asked for two extra bagels with schmear on the side. "We're out of those bagels." No, problem, there are other yummy bagels available to me. To which, I get one of the bagels I asked for and no schmear on the side. and I am charged for three extra bagels. And, where's the schmear you ask? On the breakfast sandwiches, which I did not order. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with my order, but I mean really? Every time the order is wrong. It's ridiculous. I even stopped going for a while, just to see...but no, the orders were still a hot mess. As delicious as I find Einstein Bros Bagels, I'll have to take business elsewhere, until the staff are trained in manner that is commensurate with what I assume to be standard corporate...
