I will start with saying I gave them a 2 as opposed to 1 because I believe that I left with a couple quality leads. That being said first advice, I’ll give. Read your contract. Read your contract. Read your contract. The show was scheduled for a different date and location. I only find out that the show moved dates and locations when I researched where my employees were supposed to go on the day it was originally schedule for. I received no communication from nationwide expos on the date change or location change, once we found out, we attempted to cancel the show due to employees having vacations on the weekend, they moved it to and me, not having availability to cover to the show and we were immediately met with. We have a contract. You will not get a refund. these words were sent to me by the CEO prior to even having a conversation with me when I asked him to call he sent me an email stating I can call him but there was no full refund happening. He then stated that marketing sends out emails notifying vendors of changes and that he would check to make sure that we opened that email. I think it’s also important to note that in my response to him, I asked why he didn’t give me a call. And his response was he doesn’t have time to speak to all the vendors of his shows. Upon further review, they admitted they never sent an email informing me that the dates and location had changed. I spoke with several other vendors at the show who had similar issues. Once we arrive at the show, we’re told we can set up at 1 PM on Friday I arrived on site at 1 PM to find no booth set up nothing ready and a group of people running around, trying to figure it out but having no clue what they needed to do. We were not actually able to set up until around 230. Leaving quite a few vendors standing around. I think people should know if you’re going to sign up for one of their shows regardless of what happens that money you paid is gone and you will not get it back. So be...
Read moreNot trying to start conflicts, but if you don't want problems I wouldn't recommend doing a show through this company.Of course, there is downsides to almost everything, but this company could have much better customer service. If problems arise ( even if it is weather and even if it isn't completely your fault) fix it. It is understandable that you can't control the weather but you can do your part and make sure you are completely prepared for all weather circumstances(whether it be rain, sleet, snow, hail, sun,or high wind). If you were 100% prepared like you should always be in business, the show for those in tents would have have been able to continue for the other two days. Another main problem was no vendors were notified about the closure before arrival, this caused some people with heavy elaborate setups to be stressing and not being able to pack up and return home.If tent vendors would have received a call they would have been more prepared and definitely calmer. Hopefully you will take this show into account and fix all problems that happened so your future shows don't end like the Castle Rock home show, which will leave people in not so great moods...again. Thank you, please take these issues into account so this doesn't happen again.(sloth is just my username not...
Read moreAs a partner of CMC Proudly Offering Marvin Windows & Doors, I highly recommend Nationwide Expos! They are our favorite event provider (shh...don't tell the others!) and always deliver on the foot traffic and target markets we expect to see at every show. From the owner of the company, Jon, to every customer service rep we've dealt with, they are all wonderful at sharing information on upcoming shows and ensuring we become a part of them all. They are also great at getting us anything and everything we need when the show is in progress and following up afterward to see how things went. We highly recommend them and will be doing business with them for many...
