Shebelle Market International Market — Attraction in Aurora

This may be a great place for groceries and goods but DON'T EVER USE THIS PLACE FOR A UPS PICKUP! They are unorganized, have trouble finding packages and don't really seem to understand how it works. The real thing that did it was when I picked up my last package there to find it sitting open on the counter like they had just been going through it before I got there. The guy was about to tell me they didn't have it before I realized that it was sitting on the counter, open. The box inside of the UPS package was even opened and they knew exactly what was in it. Not very apologetic, made excuses and UPS didnt seem to care. Using USPS/fedex exclusively now because of this place. UPS needs to fire somebody for allowing this place to use their name. You've...

What a wonderful store run by friendly people. I adore Ethiopian food and love cooking a wide range of cuisines generally. But my homemade injera is terrible. I heard about Shebelle Market so stopped by to see what they might have. There I discovered a treasure trove of delights. Beautiful and enormous range of unique and authentic spices and blends along with Legumes, dried fruits, AND enormous packages of FRESH injera. Have been to 2 other similar establishments and I would say they have more and better varieties of products.

The store layout is not cramped that going thru aisles is not difficult even with their shopping 🛒.

Best of all, I was given a very friendly and warm treatment as I was checking out.

The staff (I think 1 was the owner.) were so friendly and welcoming to a new customer like me. Granted, a new customer is a prospective returning customer, still, Customer Service is tops whatever way a customer looks at it. 👍
