Our experience at AMC Lakeline deserves to be shared — especially for anyone considering spending their time and money here. We visited Theater 7, which is located downstairs, and from the start, things went downhill. The seats didn’t recline — a basic feature you expect at an AMC. You could see management trying to troubleshoot the issue, but there was no clear communication, no urgency, and worst of all, no ownership of the situation. To make matters worse, there’s no working internet or cell reception downstairs. That meant we couldn’t use our AMC app, digital tickets, or even contact anyone without walking back upstairs. When we raised concerns, the staff and management were dismissive and at times downright rude. The overall lack of professionalism and customer care was really disappointing. We ended up getting a full refund for our tickets and even the popcorn — which tells you how seriously flawed the experience was. We had to leave and go to another theater just to enjoy the movie we had planned. AMC Lakeline needs serious improvement in customer service, technical maintenance, and communication. I would strongly recommend others check the theater layout and reviews before booking — especially if you’re headed to the downstairs auditoriums.

Bad attitude and service! I think he’s the manager who served us. We ordered a cocktail and the guy ask if we have cash, I said no we don’t carry cash and we can pay by card. The guy said the register broke and we take only cash. I told him I don’t have cash with me to pay, then he grab our cocktail and toss it in the sink. What an attitude!! Rude!! It’s not our fault for not having cash and we wanting to pay for it but we don’t carry cash with us all the time. AMC should come visit and see how they treat the customers. After the experience, and also as AMC stub member and part shareholder, I am going to cancel it for the bad attitude and service by that person. The younger kids that working at the cinema were nice, they apologize for not serving Mac n cheese nuggets because the machine broke. This is the second time I go there for this month , the machine still broke? The bathroom dirty. We bring our sanitizer wipes to clean the seat at the cinema.the escalator doesn’t work, maybe it runs by the mall not sure. I like AMC because closer to where I live. But when my guest and I got treated like this , not sure if I want to go there again.

This recently remodeled theatre is now AMC. The place is very clear and had some great people working each area. The location is not on par with other local favorites movie places movie house and eater, or alamo but it is better than the other generic movie houses. The food is limited to popcorn, pizza and hotdogs. There is no service so you have to order it in advance and cart it with you. This proved to be more of a hassle Than It was worth with three kids and a movie that was downstairs and a considerable walk away. There is a bar but it looks more like a concession stand than the lounge they advertise. The chairs are small compared to othera and the floor was an old pitched floor rather than the stadium seating that others offers. With the high screen you had to look up or lay you seat back to see the movie comfortably. The screen qualify and sound were great but my tickets were only $4 less for a family of 5 than movie house and eatery. I would rather go there and have the food delivered and save the hassle. This palce is number three in the rotation with others are sold out.

Part Two

So I go back to the theater, this time, go in the opposite door, guess what, no F, after E. I go back to the ticket checker, tell him the same thing, he can care less. I then asked, is there a manager, I can speak with, he tells me, “somewhere around here” I asked, can he call one, he then tell me, “you can go over there, managers hang out over there”, pointing at, I assume customer service, which I’m hesitant, because service has been absolutely despicable at this point. Now I’m at customer service, I explain to this other young man. While showing him the tickets on my phone, he’s completely oblivious on what to do. He asked the young lady, next to him, who decided that I must be lying. So she question me, with doubt strongly in her voice, asking me, “did I buy the tickets now”? While holding my phone, which clearly shows the purchase date in bold black letters. I’m showing her, on my phone, all the details she needs to see that these are legitimate tickets. She then proceed to asked me, did we check in with the ticket checker, after I had already told her, we did, that’s how we know about the sitting situation in the theater. She finally found out that the theater was switched and they supposed to have sent me a new confirmation, which never happened. She couldn’t print out new tickets, so she walked us back to the theater, to place us so close to the screen that my neck was sure to have a cramp in it, which it does now. Thinking all is done, once we got in the theater, since we are being shown our new seats. It seem, that we don’t have seats, because the young lady who bought us in the theater is asking other guests, about the seats we are supposed to be giving. Now, we have to move, because they are claiming that they have six seats. I have already written so much and I’m still not even finish, just way too much that happened. Bottom line, AMC made our family tradition, a tragedy!!! This was our first time at this theater and surely will be a last time. I should have stayed with 620 or Stonelake, never had a problem there. Plus the popcorn was...

EDIT:I have to say the bar now that is done is awesome! they even have chairs to sit and have a few drinks before or after the movie!- I am a Cinemark rat myself usually so I might be a bit biased but for what this theater is I think it is a good alternative if a show time at this theater works better and it is a tad closer to ACC if I wanted to catch a movie after school. I did not enjoy non stadium seating. I am a bit below average height. I didn't have any issues today but I worry that if it's more crowded it might be an issue seeing over someone. I also felt the chairs weren't as nice as the ones at Cinemark. My friend was shaking her leg and I could hear the seat rock I had to tell her to stop a few times. Also why do they have those blue lights on the chairs? I sort of get why they are there but if you lean over the side even a tad it catches the corner of your eye. Also, these seats seem to be smaller than Cinemarks because my feet go over the edge, something that I haven't experienced before because I am not a tall person. Most people do experience that so I guess that isn't a huge ding but all in all the chairs felt smaller and don't seem to recline as far back, they also did not have an extra cup holder. Other than those small grievances, I don't think it was a bad place at all. It was clean and pretty nice the snack bar looked nice but I didn't get a chance to visit it this visit. I thought the full bar was pretty cool and that they have mixed drinks but I doubt I'll use it considering I don't want to make a bathroom run. I wouldn't say it is nicer than Cinemark, but it is a good alternative if I want to go to another fairly priced theater after...

This movie theater isn't my preferred location more so a "last resort" kind of option.

The staff members are typically preoccupied with talking to one another and not very attentive to the movie goers, however, the overall cleanliness isn't terrible so that's a plus.

The pros: Reserved seating, self service ticket booth, and decent reclining seats. This theater also has a decent amount of rooms so there are decent show time options.

Specific issue with my latest visit: The movie was scheduled to start at 10 PM, by 10:15 the lol lights were still on and the previews hadn't started. Someone else in the theater decided to ask one of the employees about the movie and they were told they would go ask the manager. The movie goers came back and said a manager was looking into it. By 10:35 the same movie goers went back to ask for an update on the movie. They were then told that they we're fixing the projector and that they were sorry for the delay. 10:45, the previews started and the lights to the theater finally dimmed at 10:58. The manager never personally came to apologize to any of us, and that's my reason for 2 stars. Only thing I expected from this location was to watch a movie and I eventually did.

All in all, this theater isn't so bad that I wouldn't return... but it's still my last...
