Once care ended I had planned on giving the daycare a higher rating but due to the last incident I am super displeased and hurt by the way they chose to handle this situation. I have stood outside for almost 10min while a parent & teacher talked. Rosabo the cook is the one running it when Ms. Isly is gone. She doesn't do it right and has an attitude. Ms. Isly makes sure to look for the next couple of people in line so that they can get them ready. NEVER an issue. Call me impatient or difficult but if you see a line, why not make sure to call the next kid forward making sure they're ready to go? Couple of occasions I have picked up my child with a snot crusted & running. That means for an extended period of time they aren't cleaning his nose. So that led to a blow up with rosabo because she wanted me to wait outside but I wasn't going to do that because I should have never picked my child up like that, mind you this has happened before & also w/ repeatedly not having my child ready. I spoke with the owner julie, the less nicer of the two who didn't understand where I was coming from at all & gas-lighted my issues. During drop-off my son said hello twice. I was swiping my card so I hadn't said anything yet. Then I rung the bell...still nothing so I said hello & she rudely said "I'm coming" she had a twisted up face when she finely came & said "my goodness". Completely unnecessary. I only rung the bell & said hello so they'd know we're there. Bell volume not as loud as before. I wasn't doing it to rush anyone. If no one knew we were there, how was anyone going to come up and get my child? She didn't say hold on or anything to let us know she knew. I sent an email about the situation & next thing you knew they had Ms. Isly relate a message to me saying CCMS sent chuck an email saying this is his last day. (Idk if that's what he told her or if she got it mixed up, the CCMS told me the opposite) I am so upset. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced in my life. I'm not sure if legally they had to give notice but morally that is so wrong. We are experiencing times of limited hours at work, financial issues etc. To abruptly terminate care over something I was NOT wrong about, also while knowing I was switching daycares by the end of the mth any way, & knowing this would affect me financially not being able to work for 2wks due to having to wait 2wks for transfer (which I told them), that is so messed up & spiteful. I have NEVER been disrespectful or rude to anyone there. Only ever had an issue with rosabo. They didn't even have enough decency, courtesy, and respect to tell me personally. They ignored my email. They had someone relay a message and she didn't even know what was going on. Which julie told me isly doesn't have a positive outlook on me, and that "she feels the same way" as rosabo. Which I knew wasn't true because me and her have NEVER had any issues. I even asked her if she felt like I ever disrespected her or anything and she said no. If y'all see this review, you will get payback for this. I am not going to do anything, I don't have to because no bad deed goes unpunished. Remember that. Don't even bother responding trying to do damage control for whoever reads this because you could have said something when I emailed you. Good riddance.
MJ seems to be a really good teacher and better control over the students than the teacher before her. She's in the 3's class. It's been maybe 6mts I don't know. I don't get a good vibes from the teacher's in the 4's class. He was always telling me a kid name mason was mean to him & broke his cup & hitting him. They don't pay enough attention because when I call to ask about stuff they say "well idk, idk how he got that scratch or bruise". Kids picking on him. Ms. Isly at the front desk is always nice. Only good thing about chuck/julie-they at least talked to staff about being quicker with pick-up. When I asked they expanded the hrs after covid. Ignored my email 3x a few mts back. Don't really teach Spanish. I'll never use a family owned...
Read moreI absolutely love this daycare. They have made so many new wonderful changes! Definitely is looking a lot more modernized thanks to their new director Mr. Espinosa. Who is a GREAT and VERY experienced director. Makes me feel very confident that my child is receiving the best care and teaching with Mr. Espinosa's background and everything he has to offer the teachers. His being a psychologist makes me feel better because he understands how critical this stage of a child's life is and is experienced unlike many other directors whom do not have that experience or understanding. His tactics are great, especially when their are problems that need to be resolved, he resolves them immediately.
This is my son's second home M-F and the teachers are remarkable and very attentive to him. The center's staff definitely gives off that homey feeling and are always so warm and welcoming. Within 3 months of starting, his speech developed and we could just see how much he was learning and growing. He was also speaking and understanding more Spanish which is very important to us as being Hispanic American. All thanks to the amazing teaching staff and courses they take.
We are SO happy we decided to enroll our son here! It's a great feeling to be able to say that I absolutely trust these caregivers with my child and know he will always be safe.
As a parents, you always want to provide the best for your child and make them feel safe at all moments. I feel like they do that for my son. Not only do they provide them home cooked meals every day, but they give them that attention, love, and care that we as parents try to give them every day. We toured the facility twice and a couple others before deciding, but I am very happy we did that 2nd tour and decided on this facility. I would definitely recommend to...
Read moreAngels Care and Learning Center is a wonderful place for all the children. Part of our efforts is to provide a quality service and a safe place for our children. That is why we do not give "tours" in hours of service. We do not expose our children to third parties, the real reasons for their visit can be 101. The care center that allows this can not guarantee you the safety of your child at all times... We do!! Parents must evaluate how many other centers give "tours' with children inside. When we talk about children, we will always talk about prevention.
Our center is very familiar. A characteristic of the Latin breed. Our atmosphere is multicultural, representative of our Austin. "Mommy" is just a peculiar and cultural distinctive. There is no other intentions. Who's not related to our culture at the center can't understand.
The outsides area huge and amazing!
