Tucked away in a south Austin gas station lies one of the best hidden gems we’ve found. Casa Linda Taqueria is a small, humble taco stand producing quick and cheap Mexican food for the local community. We frequently get breakfast tacos and burritos from here, although they do serve traditional tacos, tortas, etc. The tacos can come in any combination but they do have preset suggestions. The breakfast tacos themselves are delicious. The meat is always seasoned well, the cheese pairs deliciously, and the tortilla holds it all together softly. We have ordered a LOT of variations of breakfast tacos here and have never been disappointed. They offer both corn and flour tortillas so you do have the choice between the two. As far as an all around experience goes, Casa Linda isn’t going to blow your mind, but for what it is (a cheap and quick breakfast stop) it excels.

My wife and I favorite taco spot. Food is always fresh made by the owners and great flavor. The potato is very consistent every time we go here we are super impressed and never upset. They have good community coffee also in the gas station to go with the taco. This is a newer place in south Austin that is a must check out for the best breakfast tacos and lunch tacos! *** 2017 update - still the best taco shop in town, love breakfast tacos here. They make perfect potato and the tortilla is always fresh. Try the thick spicy green sauce, or the milder green sauce, the red sauce is also great. Prices are affordable and you will never be disappointed. The owners are always there cooking at their best. Love this place!!!

The tortas and gorditas are really good! I tried the al pastor meat and it tasted like it was marinated in oregano, overwhelming. The tacos were garnished with lettuce and tomato instead of cilantro and onions as well the green and red salsa were so tangy instead of spicy which I thought was weird but they might just be from a diffrent area of Mexico. Overall it was a really inexpensive meal. HOWEVER I would not go back for the simple reason that theres a middle age lady that is very unfriendly and makes the whole ordering process a painful and awkward one the gorditas and tortas are not worth it. Its a shame that bad customer service destroy a good place like this. Will find somewhere else to eat.

Let me remind everyone complaining about customer service, it’s a taqueria in a gas station I don’t expect top quality service. But if you want amazing quality food at honestly a really good price compared to some others in the area. You will never be disappointed here ! If anyone is in a bad mood just remember it’s not easy waking up early in the morning every day and doing what they do. But I most definitely taste the love and effort they put into the food and that’s the reason why I’m a regular and drive almost 20mins over and another 20 back because the price and quality are unmatched ! Long story short great food at a great price ! Don’t hesitate to give em a try you’ll find yourself going back more times than you’d want...
