Love this park. I will drive ten minutes from my apartment to come here and walk my dog. The paths/trails stretch a pretty good distance- multiple blocks worth (from Big Stacy park to Little Stacy park). There WAS one bad experience- there’s an area by Little Stacy that is a small area that kind of looks like a “baseball” field. Despite the sign riiiight in front of it saying “All Dogs Must Be On A Leash” this dude had his dogs running all around. You know, sure, if they aren’t aggressive (I always keep mine on one though). But…as I was walking my 10lb handicapped dog past the area, this guy’s dog that was about six times the size of mine runs up and starts trying to attack her. Snarling. Trying to bite her. And she’s running all around me trying to hide and I’m trying to protect her and pick her up. I mean, it WAS an isolated experience (I’d hope?) so it won’t take the rating down from the actual park from that single time. I guess just be aware, just in case. Regardless, it is a nice park to...

The creek was a little dried up this time of year, but it still made for a great little trek. We found some cool spots to sit and enjoy nature along the creek until we reached a spot that was full of water that we could no longer walk through....
