Restore Austin — Attraction in Austin

Edit: Unfortunately the leader of this church made an assumption that I wrote this review in response to a sermon series that I am entirely unaware of. This a complete fabrication. I am not writing this review in response to a particular sermon or a singular unbiblical teaching. Nor am I writing it due to some personal vendetta. I am writing this review because Restore Austins views and teachings are, by and large, unbiblical and detrimental to the body of Christ. They do not preach the true gospel nor do they represent Christianity as it is meant to be represented.

An extremely unbiblical church. I hate to say extreme but it's the truth. The teachings and beliefs held by this organization are simply not in line with scripture even in the slightest. I fear for the unfortunate souls who attend here that have been misguided and lied to by their leaders. Please find a church that teaches and truly believes the entirety of God's perfect word because we don't get to pick and choose what parts of his word we believe. You either believe his word or you don't. There is no middle ground. There is only truth or lies. Light...

Sonia, the children's Minister is amazing with the kids! They put on several events throughout the year that my kids have really enjoyed attending. My oldest son is a Football player in 7th Grade at Fulmore Middle School this year (I'm so proud, can you tell?!) and through the Middle School is where we found out about this church. I can't say enough good things about this Church. I really enjoy how humble and genuine everyone is. We have visited many Churches in Austin through our years, and have never found a place more welcoming. The people at Restore Austin are real. They don't make you feel like you have to dress a certain way to attend church, or look a certain way. No one is perfect, and that is okay. We are all different and beautiful in our own ways. God made us in his image and Jesus forgives us of our past and sins. This church will...

Being a part of this community has been such a blessing! As an LGBTQ+ Christian, finding an affirming church was important for my partner and I.

The first time my s/o and I came, we were welcomed with open arms! This community made us feel safe and that we are worthy of Gods love, regardless of sexuality. The lessons taught by the pastor are based off of the bible and are delivered in a very loving manner.

I cannot recommend this church enough! The work this community does is incredible!
