John Gaines Pool (Private) — Attraction in Austin

I drove over just to find out I couldn’t go in. It’s private. They should really post that online on their website it’s important waste of time and Gas . I had made plans with my 9year old . Most of the Life Guard seems nice especially the one with the Piercings very nice customer service except the one with the reddish hair she made me feel unwelcome as if I don’t belong. I hope it didn’t have anything to do with color because I am black and live in this community although I didn’t have a community card because I was never given one this was my first at this pool. Going forward I hope she can make people feel a little welcome....

Took my family for Memorial Day. We reside in Allandale. Found out that they only take cash. (Just an FYI), We had only cards to pay for entrance. They told us where an ATM was nearby.
