Terrible experience. We went for Sunday brunch specifically for their advertised “Sunday drink deals,” only to be met with rationing, condescension, and microaggressions from both the bartender and our server.
For context: we were a calm, respectful group enjoying brunch and responsibly taking advantage of their advertised deals. Over the course of our visit, we had approximately three rounds of well shots and mimosas—standard for a brunch setting. Yet, we were treated as though we were out of control, which was not the case.
The staff charged us for drinks they never delivered, claiming they were “pacing” us. Pacing is not their responsibility unless we are disruptive, which we were not. The bartender even justified this by saying, “We will be held liable for what happens outside of here.” This is nonsensical and shows a lack of understanding of basic service standards. None of us are minors; we are all adults capable of managing our consumption.
Although we eventually got food, nearly half the menu was unavailable—no pancakes, waffles, burgers, or sandwiches. How do you run a brunch service without staples like these? To make matters worse, what little they did have took an eternity to arrive.
It’s clear this place is poorly managed. If you can’t even handle basic operations like maintaining your menu or timely service, what qualifies you to dictate how customers manage their consumption? Focus on getting your own house in order before overstepping with unnecessary restrictions.
This is the only place I’ve experienced that denies paying customers service without cause, undermining the very deals they use to attract patrons. It’s both embarrassing and unprofessional. If liability concerns outweigh the ability to provide proper service, perhaps offering drink deals isn’t the right fit for their establishment. We won’t...

A disappointing experience for this new restaurant. Realizing it’s their first week in business, I hope they focus on addressing these issues and work out the operational kinks. However, I won’t be going back until I get answers from management on how my credit card information was used to pay for other customers without my authorization or even being present.
FOOD
Ordered the Blue Lacy Breakfast which ended up being cold and tasteless. In an attempt to cover up their efforts to curtail inflation, they served the food on smaller plates (known as the Delboeuf Illusion) than what was advertised online. The hash browns were colorless and undercooked. Both the eggs and sausage had no seasoning and tasted bland. Ordering was a bit confusing as well since their online menu omits large amounts of their breakfast offerings.
SERVICE
Service was okay during the meal. However, the staff kept my credit card information and charged multiple drinks at their coffee bar as soon as we left. Management voided the charges but failed to provide explanation for how it would have happened. They mentioned it was their first week in business, but I still think it’s a mistake that should never occur. Fraudulent and unauthorized charges is not an “small mistake” moment.
ATMOSPHERE
The interior space of the restaurant is beautiful and was clearly well-designed. The main entrance was a bit confusing to find since there are multiple doors to enter. A logo on the main entrance would easily clarify things.
VALUE
The price and quality of the food seemed overprice for what you pay. Kerby Lane down the street is the best comparison for their breakfast menu, but Kerby Lane blows them out of the water. In fact, I recommend Kerby Lane over Blue Lacy for better breakfast food at a...
Read moreWe had high hopes for this place as a new neighborhood diner for us. The exterior and general layout are well designed.
We had so many issues with the food and it's worth noting we are the type that will not bring up ordering problems unless it's significant.
To start, my son's sausage patties were raw inside - I tried them and it was straight uncooked in the middle. His pancakes where very eggy like a thin crepe consistency but had a burnt griddle taste on the edges. The kids asked to add chocolate chips to their pancakes. That’s my surprise, that was one more easy add-on The restaurant did not have available.
My wife ordered a side of sausage links and they brought out burned turkey sausages instead. Once the waiter brought out the right breakfast side, it ended up the meat was rancid once she tasted it.
I had the breakfast tacos - the brisket tasted freeze dried add the tortillas were stale.
The eggs and hashbrowns were fine, it was just anything else beyond fried egg seemed to be out of their grasp.
if I was to pinpoint what feels like the root issue, it seems like they’re understaffed and overall it’s confusing a nice looking restaurant in Mueller is completely dead on a Saturday morning at 9 AM.
Something is just off and it feels like they have minimal cooking staff that seem lost by what they are sending out on plates.
they must also have some issue with the kitchen generally because two previous times we came in the past months they told us they could only service coffee and pastries because their chef never showed up. This is amateur league stuff. Some limited partner / investor is losing a lot of money due to a poorly managed...
