I bought a custom fuel tank from K&K and after only a month it started leaking really bad. I took it back and they fixed it (but charged me $$$) The "fix" barely lasted another month it began leaking really bad again! So I took it back again and they put a baffle in it (charged me AGAIN even though it was clearly their poor workmanship) This time it lasted close to a year and now it's leaking VERY BADLY again! I'm absolutely disgusted by the amount of diesel fuel that has leaked away. Between the cost of lost fuel (90 gallon tank!) cost of repairs and lost time on the road dealing with the issues its been an expensive disappointment. I will never again bring my business here. Unfortunately I referred a friend right after I bought mine who has also had nothing but trouble with his. I found someone that will build a better quality tank for half the price. I normally dont write bad reviews but felt obligated given the expenses...
Read moreNice people. Brought my copper boiler in to silver solder some fractures in two separate areas. One area was repaired the other you could clearly see a pinhole, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Took it home to test and sure enough it leaked at the visible pinhole. He mentioned if it leaks bring it back and I’ll fix it but it won’t cost as much $$. After paying $250 which I don’t mind because I needed it expedited. Like I said nice people and I’m sure they can do good work on steel, iron, or other metals. But maybe don’t get frequent silver...
Read moreI had some after market parts (Front mount intercooler and high flow down pipe) adjusted for a better fit by Jesus at K&K, the work was outstanding! The welds were super clean and looked like they were original. You couldn't tell the part had been worked on. I'm an OCD engineer so have very high standards and I'm very rarely satisfied with the quality of workmanship these days, but K&K delivered big time! Price was reasonable too. If you're clear about what you want done and by when you won't be...
