Little Zilker Park — Attraction in Austin

I love our park, which is next to Zilker Elementary. We have lived here 19 years and loved it. But the only things that have become a problem in recent years have been unleashed dogs (NOT an off leash park and not a “dog park”… it’s a park) and pickle ball players. NEVER had issues with tennis players. But we have even had pickle ball players urinate on a tree by our backyard, facing my kids bedroom. They start playing on weekends at 6:30 - 7 am screaming and carrying on like it’s the middle of the afternoon all star game. All we ask for a little respect….9 am on a weekend too much to ask? Please be kind neighbors and considerate of others, so everyone can enjoy...

Little Zilker has everything a small neighborhood park needs. Walking path, 2 tennis courts with lights, lots of play areas for the kids.

There is a crazy old man that follows people with unleashed dogs around while calling them fascists, but I guess every park needs a lovable senile geriatric as well (I aspire to fill the role myself one day).

People care about this park. It's in great shape and I've never seen an unbagged...

Awesome park if the law breaking dog owners keep their dogs on leash! One guy's dog ripped out the eyeball of another dog and the guy refused to pay vet bills!! Hopefully once the off-leash dogs stop tearing apart the park, will be able to get some soccer fields there and the baseball...
