Bluebonnet Food Mart — Local services in Austin

I pulled the vehicle over in the lot, was planning on grabbing something, then the owner or worker came charging out. I couldn’t believe how rude this guy was. I literally have never come across someone so angry out of nowhere during my time in Austin. I cannot comment on the store since I was immediately turned away by this guy yelling at me. I was calmly sitting in my truck for a few minutes bothering nobody. I hope this is not typical of the staff at the mart, it completely turned me away.

I've lived in two different houses in this neighborhood for about 2 years and have always loved this convenience store. I've bought more than my share of beer here as well as random other things I've needed. They are always friendly and in my mind are an institution of the neighborhood. I'm sure it helps that I am a familiar face but they readily offer to let me have things on credit if I forgot my card or stop by on a bike ride/run and don't have my wallet. Hidden GEM! I was vacationing in Austin for 2 weeks, omw to Zilker Park I found this local store. Drinks are kept cold and iced. Nice selection of wines. 1 stop shopping. This store has a selection of just about anything I needed! Store was in mint clean condition. The coffee was delicious and the over stuffed breakfast tacos is a must!
