What a great crystal shopping experience. A lot of interesting unique finds, the kind you only read about in the crystal books. Had to take a moment to calm down and not get over excited… happened a few times. Might not be your place if you’re looking for lots of jewelry or trinket-ey type stuff. Just rocks and crystals here, for the most part. Lots of brass singing bowls, too. Probably more stuff in reality but didn’t have enough time. Would take quite a bit of time to browse all of it in detail in one go… which is how I like my crystal shops. Great selection, not just the common stuff. All intimately curated by owner who is available to answer any and all questions, from where he bought them to country of origin to composite mineral formation. Very fair to what-a-steal prices. I had to leave a review for Millie after our amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us warmly, even holding the door for us. Millie was incredibly welcoming to me, my children, and my friend, who was buying crystals for the first time. She expertly guided my friend through the process, sharing her extensive knowledge and helping her find beautiful necklaces and stones perfectly suited to her spiritual journey. Millie was also fantastic with my son, helping him choose a cool meteorite necklace that fit within our budget. She was so kind to my daughter too (picking out an obsidian Yoda). Despite the shop closing, she stayed an extra 30 minutes to assist us, going above and beyond in every way. The shop itself has great prices and a wonderful vibe—I'll definitely be coming back! A friend and I went to Shiny Things yesterday. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but to say I was amazed might be an understatement! The quantity of crystals (and other great things) he has is fantastic. However, what really impressed me is the quality of the stones. They are first class A+. Not only that but Juju is likely one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever met about stones. He answered every question we had and then some. Then to top it all off, his talent for wire wrapping is incredible. So talented! I’ve found my shop and am happy to shout it out!
